Rather than any continuation without John wick which would be criminal they need to go and do a movie about Sophia hearing about john wick and that he might be able to help her against the high table with hiding her daughter therefore giving him the marker she did a Sophia movie with John as co-lead is the only spinoff I'll ever watch After 4s disappointing ending and how it spat in the face of the whole third movie which now the whole message of chapter 3 is pointless and don't hate me because you blindly love chapter 4 watch chapter 3 properly he wants to stay alive to remember her to honour her by being a good man.

Chad has said that John Wick is on hiatus, but with a death about every 30 seconds, it would be impossible to top this movie, therefore JW 5 has be a sequel dealing with his wife Helen, they just need to work on the script, and probably will do that surreptiously while filming Ballerina.
John received multiple wounds throughout Chapter 4, so the duel merely finished him off. Discarding the last of his weapons belt plus mag holders was a visual signal that this really was the end, casting off his assassin persona to die as a free man. The Tracker is Sofia s son, so we may see Halle Berry in his spin-off movie.

So I am not a mega John Wick fan, but for sure I do like it. I did not see John Wick 4 as of yet, but he dies at the end (or so it seems. I guess I am a little surprised in a sense that nobody seemed to be offput or unhappy with this ending. In the last Bond film Bond died at the end and nobody seemed to like to all that much, so why is this different? Again I like John Wick and love Reeves and didn't see the film so don't know every detail of the story, but this is more of a broad question from a bit more than a casual franchise fan. Thanks.

So I am not a mega John Wick fan, but for sure I do like it. I did not see John Wick 4 as of yet, but he dies at the end (or so it seems. there is absolutely NO way John died from a gunshot wound to the arm, shoulder trap, and side of the torso; none of which hit any major organs. He has received way worse damage in the past and got up to live again. The ending was left ambiguous on purpose, even the ending of the chapter 4 itself didn't feel emotional. John isn't dead, but for the sake of the movies, personal plans of the actors, writers and producers and the studio - its been left open ended. So, if the fans really want a 5th, there shall be one.

I love John Wick but in my opinon they should do a sequel set in a time 10-15 years after Chapter 4 with (the) new characters. And then maybe at one point in the movie they need help and then an older John Wick (Keanu of course) saves them in a spectacular way and helps them back on track. Meanwhile we can see he has found a new love and maybe even a young child (that also does martial arts) and then leave John Wick alone and in peace with his family - and a dog of course; -)

I went and saw this 3 hours is too long found very boring moments in this movie. The worst part of this movie is Donnie yen the blind Chinese who's completely invincible can dodge bullets and nobody can touch him even though he's completely blind so far-fetched and ridiculous this was the worst part of movie. Long boring parts kills hundreds of people without getting a scratch on him. John wick should end here.

I enjoyed the movie and personally hope that wick isn't truly dead. Sure they show his tombstone, I'm no doctor so I don't know if the wounds would actually kill him. I am keeping an optimistic mind set, and as well as Winston's slight avoidance of answering flat out if he is in heaven or hell. For all we know just the name John wick could be dead.

I have a theory that John Wick faked his death and is going under a new persona so that he can 100% be left alone to mourn his wife, because everyone that knew him will assume he died.
And in the future if the producers want to make a Johh Wick 5 movie(for whatever reason, they're going to use this theory if the movie takes place after Chapter 4

I m a huge fan of all the movies. If this is the last time we see John I am more than okay with that. Each movie is a gem of its own and we don t need to continue stretching it out. Chapter 4 really showed that without Helen he was the Baba Yaga. And there was no life for him worth Living without her. Hence why he had to die.

I want a prequel film film fake out where the first part of the film is a prequel but part way through jumps in time to the end of 4 to show John survived. Then the film jumps back and forth with the impossible task and him stealth killing the rest of the high table

I think John wick returning defeats the very purpose of why he fought, He wanted to meet his wife again, and bring die as the loving husband, not John wick the assassin, so his perfect ending was returning to his wife as the loving husband that he always wanted to be.
