It's been year's so I don't remember all the details.
Clark goes back in time by using a crystal to save someone very close to him from dying. Lois if I'm correct.
But nothing is without cost, without price.
If I'm remembering correctly at the end of the episode his father died of a heart attack.
Saved Lois but lost his father who did not have a heart attack when Lois died. The universe demanded a death to fill the void Lois's death left and it chose Clark's Father.
I'll alway's remember these line's that were spoken in that episode We are not God's. There is only 1 crystal.

I would totally watch the animated show. This was and still is one of my all time favorite shows. Ironically was watching smallville and misplaced my remote and watched the first episode of Supernatural my other top favorite show. One thing missed was Jensen was actually originally going to be Clark till they found Tom. I love how he still got a role AND that Jensen got Tom to be in his prequel show. Just shows how tight the cast is with each other.

Not entirely sure if it was the _Smallville_ pilot or not, but I remember a line I really liked from a young Clark Kent, when asked what sort of career he was considering. He wasn't sure, but clarified, As long as it doesn't involve me wearing a suit or doing a lot of flying.

To me Smallville should have ended when they left Smallville. Not that the show was perfect until that point, to tell the truth. And i really didnt care for Lana as a character, or Lois. Chloe was cool.

I think that Smallville was a bigger hit here in Brazil back then, but maybe this was because unless you had cable, you didnt have many options in terms of live action superhero shows.

Michael Rosenbaum and John Glover were hands down the best parts of the show. Both fantastic actors and their scenes together were always standouts.

My favorite show early 2000s. Even went to Vancouver to check out Lexcorp. And my bro ran into Kristen Kreuk and a coffee shop.
Loved Smallville.

great show but, with the contractual limitations set on it the later seasons became more entertaining for what was changed/wrong on the show
