The credits have rolled and the reviews are in but is Indy's final adventure whip-cracking fun or does it belong in a museum? Mike: Indian Jones replaced by a JEWISH WOMAN.
This is AMERICA NOW.
I'm surprised Indiana was going to be played by a BLACK WOMAN.

Critics seem too harsh on it. Not because I have seen the film, but their complaints have sounded weak and those things typically wouldn't ruin a movie for me. For example, a lot of people are giving it negative reviews, and their only criticism is that it doesn't have the same flare and panache of Spielberg. Well of course it doesn't, there is only one Spielberg, and he didn't direct this movie. Going into the film knowing that, why would you then criticize it for not feeling like a Spielberg film? The people expecting this to be Raiders have set their expectations way too high, that's one of the greatest films ever. All I need from this movie is for it to be competent enough formally, and deliver an emotional story for Indy that has fun and excitement. I'm not expecting it to be Raiders, and it's crazy to do so.

Hope it goes out on a better note than Crystal Skull. However, I'm just worried that it will be too much a product of its own history; Raiders completely changed the action genre. Since then we've had a multitude of movies that have built upon its legacy. But now, if it sticks too close to the original formulas and tones, it will feel outdated and stale. If it goes too new and innovative, it won't feel like an Indiana Jones movie.

I'm really hoping this movie will receive the Top Gun Maverick treatment. Treating the legacy characters with respect and reverence, and creating a thrill ride of a movie. But i have a feeling it'll get the Last Jedi treatment; dam it Kathleen. Holding out hope though

dipped deeply into the obscurity pile of media outlets to get those reviews. Variety and other more reputable sources seem to disagree. RT score out of the box is at 48%. At 300 million production budget, this movie will most likely be another Disney money loser.

I'm one of the people who like Kingdom of the Crystal Skull and it was better than Temple of Doom because it has the same spark as Raiders and Last Crusade; I'm not so sure why a lot of fans hated the Crystal Skull; to me it's befuddling.

Why are you soft-balling the critic reviews. It has a 50% in rotten tomatoes saying audience was whispering throughout from being bored

God these haters or so-called fans really have forgotten why loyalty should be a part of their fan career, haven t they?

Well it must be nice for him to be doing this movie in his 80s and ending it. I think it will be nice to watch and say goodbye.
