UBER DRIVER KIDNAPPED ME (LIVE FOOTAGE): STORYTIME Gabbie: Ive almost got kidnapped last year My story time: I was with my cousin (we were both 12) and we were walking to the dollar general and once we got there everything was fine we just wanted to get snacks because she was staying the night at my house and as we were walking this tall man in a black jacket starts following us. At first we thought he was just buying groceries but then we go to the makeup and stuff because we knew a guy wouldnt buy makeup and we gave it about 30 seconds and he was there. I was so scared but my cousin didnt think much of it she was just looking around and stuff and then we go to check out I just bought like 2 things so I didnt look suspicious and I got done checking out fast then my cousin got done but she was just talking to the worker the whole time and while she was talking to the worker the guy walks past us slowly and then he like says come here with his hands if you get what Im saying and thats when I start freaking out After he does that I grab my cousin and say bye to the worker and then outside I tell her to run and I kinda whisper to her what happened and then she started freaking out as well The guy left the store like 30 seconds after us thats when I knew he wanted to kidnap us. He got in his car and started following us (we also had Starbucks from earlier that day) we threw out Starbucks and the ground and stared running as fast as we could and we finally got to an apartment complex that was like 1 minute away from the store, than he got out of his car and started walking up to us at the apartments and we had no where else to go because it was kinda like a dead end so we had to Jump someones fence and fell into a bunch of snow (it happened in February) and we were just both balling out eyes out so much. After we jumped the fence we had to run through like 10 peoples yards and then we finally got to a woods and thats when I knew I was almost home because the woods was right down the street from my house (except my house is at the bottom of the woods and at that moment we were at the way top) we took like a 30 second break at the woods because we knew we lost the guy then we just started running home again (note we were holding sacks and balling our eyes out holding hands) we finally got home after like 2 minutes of running from the woods. When we got home we were both talking so fast crying and my mom called the dollar general and the couldnt find the man because he was looking down the whole time by all the cameras and all I know was that his car was a small black car. Ever since that I cant go anywhere by myself If you read all of this comment something

Okay for starters the Uber app company is smart and already thought of this, if the driver took an extra few miles to get you home all you have to do is in the help section of the Uber app, request to recalculate your fare based upon Uber's recommended route and you will be refunded. Not hard at all, so when people get upset about this it's really not worth it as Uber will refund u. Also sometimes the GPS makes a mistake and it's not even the driver's fault, or the driver is inexperienced and he's made a few mistakes. Chiiiiiillllllll

6: 00 Totally agree with you on that I think the same about bus drivers here in the UK; I have had so many experiences and witnessed many more experiences where drivers can hardly speak any English and are subsequently very rude to customers asking basic questions, or cannot provide simple customer service. At the very least, I think drivers should be given English lessons as part of their training, to avoid any difficult situations. This isn't racist; just logical (Obviously)

Yeah penny pinchers mfs. Low quality. He knows what he did or was doing. Why didnt you call uber? I had a bad experience and they answered and handled it within seconds Wasn't as bad as you make it sound, but I was refunded, offered credit and will never be linked up with that drive again. TANA speak up dont just rant

Woaw that's some crazy story about the creepy Uber driver. Ill have to message you sometime with some stories I dealt with foreign people and sometimes it gets frustrating trying to get through to them when they don't understand me LOL

Omfg this makes me mad Ive had this issue before and the guy stole too and we were in a different country. But omfg makes me mad and hes more then that but youre being so nice calling him a moron

My brother sometimes drives Uber and the only thing weird about him is, his car always smells like he just bought it no-matter what he puts in it. Not really that bad though.
