The Jessica Simpson one is ridiculous. How desperate are you to find some sort dirt on a celebrity to make it sound like she opts to not brush her teeth at all yet still is capable of possessing a smile most of us would die for? Another example of the media providing the supply for the public's demand of negativity about someone else's speculated & assumed short comings. I only hope that journalists that use this technique routinely to sell more stories some how end up at the receiving end of it at one point in their life. So they can finally realize in their pursuit of greed they remained blind to the consequences it caused some of their stories subjects needlessly & were several times completely undeserved. Greed knows NO bounds and this practice that has become a staple used in the media daily proves it!

Ok, I had to stop when they got to James Franco. He can't be guilty because some girl tricked him by lying and saying that she was 18 and then posted their private conversation out there for the world to see. Yeah, he should have known better to trust a stranger but the world was making a big deal about this. Like he was some pervert/creep. The girl was 17, a month away from being 18! Not 15 going on 16.

I think Jessica Simpson has the right idea though. If you brush your teeth too much it will wear down the enamel and that's not good once a day or every other day is good enough. I believe the dentists tell you to brush more because they get more money when you come in for the problems it causes.

Actually, brushing twice a day is a myth. It was originally started as part of an advertisement campaign ran by toothpaste companies to increase sales.
Brushing once a day is perfectly suitable. In fact, certain studies suggest it is better.
