But it's not snake oil peddled by these charlatans. If you want to practice ayurved as a doctor you have to college and earn a degree known as BAMS. These ayurvedic medicine should not be taken willy nilly, doctors have to see you and they will place you on medicine based on your body type, age etc, just like allopathic medicine doctors. This woman is misrepresenting an actual codified and tightly controlled system of medicine. This will cause a lot of harm to the consumer.

What advise should one follow if there's no scientific evidence or conclusions to follow? Scientists have a very hard time agreeing on what a healthy diet is for example. Goop recommended the Wimhof method and psychedelics that I find useful for example, despite the lack of scientific evidence. Sometimes it can be good to follow your intuition.

I've done a cleanse or three. Usually liver and kidney because they're your body's filters and need it. I always feel better after; which means more to me than a doctor who can't prove scientifically that they help. Never done anything from goop, though.

I've known and tried bee sting therapy since 2007 it's safe but not for people who are allergic to it though. It's only used for muscle pains but she said it's for scar healing and skin inflammation which is an absolute NO-NO.
