10. The Inheritance Cycle was a huge disappointment. I loved Eragon, but each subsequent sequel got worse with the last one being just bad.
9. Prefer the prequel series Infernal Devices trilogy. But still enjoyed the Mortal Instruments series.
8. Read the first novel and was just super bored with it. I have the next 2 books but did not continue.
7. Did not read this series. But the movie was just horrible, confusing, and nonsensical.

Clare should not be on the list. She committed plagiarisms. blatant. open. unrepentant plagiarism. She's a bully too, who used a LAWYER to legally harass people. Oh and she called the parents of a 13 year old girl to tell them that they should get the girl to take down a critical blog. I kid you not. Oh and she glorifies incest. Look it up, go ahead. She's a disgrace to writers everywhere. She's a bad person too. That's before we even begin pulling apart her writing. which is on the level of a teenager. Which is just sad considering her age.

I know these books aren't mainstream enough, but may I put forward some suggestions? The Mistborn trilogy and the sequel Alloy Of Law series as well as the Steelheart trilogy. All written by the wonderful Brandon Sanderson. These are some of my favorite books ever. Such wonderful (dystopian) novels set in two amazing universes. Those books should be more famous than they are!

I recently read a mindblowing fantasy book called Vivian Amberville - The Weaver of Odds. It centered around a girl whose thoughts could reshape the fabric of reality. Amazingly epic and trippy read written by author Blackwick. Would really recommend to all fans of epic fantasy books to check it out

Cassandra Clare The Mortal Instrument series is stunning! Let's say the progress is when you put it in your top 10 video, but still. The Lord of the Rings could scarcely be picked up!

Where is A Song of Ice and Fire that should at least be second. I know theres a tv show but the books came first. definitely agree with Harry Potter as #1 though those books are phenomenal. Also I think PJO should have been more than an honorable mention those were great

I personally think that The Divergent series are extremely underrated. I've just watched all 3 films and I think I'm gonna read the books because I feel like the films are so underrated. Like or reply to this comment if you agree with me.

Throne of Glass should be more than an honorable mention. It's my favorite series of all time, I've read so many times and I still love it. But I'm really glad it is at least on the list.

I agree with these but am I the only one who thought divergent shouldve been farther up the list? It may just be my opinion since its my favorite series. No hate on these decisions tho
