Zac Efron as Ted Bundy.
Vanessa Hudgens was in Spring Breakers and she was way more hardcore than Selena. She was also in a movie called Thirteen but she was a goody goody.
And Hilary Duff as Olivia Burke in Gossip Girl was very shocking because she was involved in a threesome.

This is what every Disney child star should do, so they wont get type cast on family friendly movies. Disney stars need to diverse themselves in character if they want to transition in to their he film world and escape that kid image.

Innocent Alex Russo? Uhhhhhhh. I dunno about that, think that adult role might just be Alex Russo as an adult. Did you see that show? She was, like, teen delinquent number one.

Before Disney roles shouldnt count. Also the roles that should surprise people should be when the actors/actresses played in really dark roles, not some teen drama show (riverdale)

Seeing Hilary Duff on this list I figured yall would show her role in Law & Order: SVU. That was the first time I saw her really shed her Disney image.

Possibly Hudgens was more surprising in THE FROZEN GROUND as a teen prostitute with a sideline in pole dancing (is anyone now searching for the clips)

Idk man, I think Vanessa Hudgens in Spring Breakers was a lot more shocking. She took a complete 180 from her role as Gabriella
