Scars pelt was supposed to be a nod to the animator of scar who was also the chief animator of Hercules the pelt is meant to represent the nemean lion which Hercules slayed as his first labour this beast had a hide so tough that mortal weapons couldn't penetrate so Hercules trapped it in it's lair and strangled it to death then using it's own supernaturaly sharp claws to remove it's hide and wore it as armour.

You clearly forgot one, in the beginning when we first see hades on the boat in the underworld there are two souls climbing up on the boat. And if you look closely you can see that these souls are supposed to be Ceasars and Cleopatra. Don't know if someone else ever noticed

That bit with Jafar makes no sense because he didn't die at the end of Aladdin. Since he died at the end of Return of Jafar it would make more sense to use a clip from the Hercules/Aladdin crossover.
