These are the most relatable Disney villains ever! For this list, well be looking at ten Disney villains who are very relatable, either through their personality, background, or motivation. Now, we arent saying that these characters are good people. Far from it. Were simply stating that we understand where theyre coming from and what they may be feeling. Weve included characters like Captain Hook, Jafar, Mother Gothel and Yzma! Want to

All right this just might be me but Edgar was actually going to be the richest Disney villain character if he just would have taken care of the cats instead of trying to get rid of them in all honesty all he had to do was wait for his employer to basically pass let the lawyer come through a couple of times and after that he could have just given the cats to somebody else that was willing to actually take care of them so in all honesty he literally went through so much trouble to get rid of them for nothing and the first place but he would have just waited for the inheritance to be under his control since he has to take care of the cats he could have had a much more smarter way to get rid of them

I disagree with this whole list, especially with that selfish, greedy and violent Syndrome! In my opinion, Sid from Toy Story 1, Stinky Pete from Toy Story 2, Gabby Gabby from Toy Story 4, Dr. Heinz Doofenshmirtz from Phineas and Ferb are some of the Disney villains that shouldve been on this list because their tragic backstories have angered and scarred them for a long time and its easy to sympathize with them, despite their terrible crimes. I know that I only named four villains, but a lot of Disney villains with the exception of the four that I said are very hard to sympathize with and relate to because of all their crummy deeds towards the protagonists of the films.

I kinda think Hans from Frozen should have been on this list!
GUNS EVERYWHERE POINT IN MY DIRECTION
Here me out! Sure Hans gives us no reason to hate him until the climax of the film, which makes us all hate him, but you can kinda sympathize with him; He was part of the royal family in his home Kingdom, but had no chance of getting the throne because he was the youngest of 13 princes.
Just think about it for a moment. Sure stabbing Princess Anna in the back when she needed him was absolutely horrible, but we can definitely see where hes coming from.

At first glance Maleficent being Mistress of All Evil might seem a good excuse to not invite her, but Aurora's father failed to acknowledge one simple fact: Maleficent may have made the Forces of Evil more dangerous by uniting them under her banner and giving them direction, but by the same token she's not allowing them to run rampant for shits and giggles. If he had simply thought of her as an ill-reputed ruler no one sane wants to start a beef with, that invitation would have been in her mail.

I think Hook should've been higher. We don't know why he and Peter Pan hated each other in the first place. For all we know, he's just trying to stop Peter from kidnapping more kids or convincing kids to run away so much. Hook and his crew are the only adults in Neverland, aside from the one native man. It's possible he sees where Neverland is going by being overrun with kids who run away and refuse to grow up

Even though I try not to feel too bad for Callaghan (he is the villain, stole Hiros microbots, started the fire that killed Tadashi, coldly told Hiro that Tadashis death was the latters fault, attacked his former students, and I see him hanging his head down when he was arrested more as him being disappointed at being sent to prison, he should be on this list. Even the Queen from Snow White should be on it.

Villains wiki says Edgar is selfish and greedy but heres the thing, he was passed over by cats. Like its fcked up with he did what he did with humans but it was cats who did it. And what the cats do with it anyways, get groceries? Also he just drove them to the country side and the cats getting wet wasnt his fault, its the dogs fault since they got in the way.

I mean, with Malificent, they just needed to give her the invite for the simple reason of the fact that a supernatural of that strength in the area? Even if they are the Mistress of all Evil, you are polite because otherwise they are the Offended Mistress of all Evil. Also, by not sending her an invite, they were effectively trying to cancel her.

Captain hook should have been number one not maleficent I mean losing her hand having to be chased by crocodile really does suck. No matter what the reason he did it Peter even if it was probly to save the world or childish prank he still should have never took those are an advantage of the crocodile and should never been playing pranks on him

I agree with all those who love Hades! James Woods was such a great actor to use only his voice to paint a wonderful role! Disney has a long history of ignoring. well, history! But if Hades had to play the role of villain, James Woods did an excellent job! How great would it be to have him on your answering machine!

#3 I just think Mr. Incredible didn't want him to get hurt. Otherwise, the guilt would eat him alive. That's why he rejected him. If I was a superhero, I know I sure as hell wouldn't want my sidekick, or the one who admires me, to get hurt or worse. If they did, I would never forgive myself.

Too bad no one taught hades that messing with fate leads to the same fate. The fates knew if they revealed the future to hades then hades would try to get rid of Hercules thus causing a chain of events leading to hades losing anyway. If hades didnt know what would happen then hades wouldve won

Im kinda sad the shadow man from princess and the frog wasnt in here I feel like hes pretty relatable. Like how all the rich and powerful people just spend money selfishly without even glancing at the people in need ya know. Also hades bro love him

Personally I relate a lot more to Mr. Incredible than Syndrome. It's one thing to want to help but it's another to put yourself in harms way. Mr. Incredible tried to be nice to him a great deal in the past but Buddy just couldn't get the hint.

I definitely find Maleficent the most relatable. I have had times when people didn't invite me to a party or hangout. I saw my classmates in 5th grade handing out invitations and I didn't get one. Well, time to curse their first born babies.
reply

Realistically, I'd probably go crazy to get revenge on someone who'd have my hand cut and fed to some crocodile that's now bloodthirsty for me. I mean, would you really wanna be friends with some psycho?
reply

Even though Maleficent was the only one not invited to the party she probably over exaggerated also I'm surprised Dr facilier wasn't on there I can relate to the guy also he is my favorite 82nd Jafar III

I'm a cat person. I would NEVER do anything like that to an innocent cat just for some money. What Edgar did to them was bad enough. He's a greedy snob with no concern for anyone's pets.
reply

I really relate to Yzma. We both get annoyed by people, we're great at throwing shade, we both believe we're super fabulous, and we put up with so much crap through our lives.

If I was Genies master, I would wish to bring all of my favorite movie, TV show, and video game characters into my world, so I can form a pack out of them all, with me as the leader.
reply

You would be mad at the king and queen too if they snubbed you and someone from their kingdom cut off your wings after they spiked your drink. That's why maleficent is so angry.
reply

I would not be upset if I found out that I come after the cats of the rich old lady I work for. Mainly because I love kittens and animals live shorter than humans anyway.
reply

Maleficent and Hades are the Power Duo of Evil. Thats why they end up togetherthough the leave unhappilystill(my headcanon is that Maleficent is a banished Persephone.
reply

Most of these entries use some really strong mental gymnastics to justify these guys, in reality most of them were greedful assholes that dug their own graves.
reply

I'm glad someone is acknowledging that Hook is actually just dealing with PTSD from having his hand chopped off and dealing with that crocodile
reply

I feel for scar. Scar real name is taka which means garage and was the older brother. So he was supposed to be king before mufassa.
reply

Edgar is just dumb. Cats can't spend money and someone has to look after them. So technically he's getting the money either way
reply

how is Yzma below syndrome. i mean getting fired for years of loyalty is more hurtful that getting rejected by an adult once.
reply

The irony is that in Greek Mythology Hades is the most fair god. Compared to his brothers Zeus and Poseidon, he's a great god.
reply

Hades somehow manages to be Meg's boss and the owner of her soul, but at the same time fills the role of her sassy gay friend.
