watched this movie again last night and as always, it didnt fail to make me cry. what i realized about this film is that it is not just an unconditional love story but it is also a story about healing and mending through that great love. read the book as well and the movie might be different from it but the two are equally amazing and moving. the book showed us how it is to unconditionally love someone, but the movie showed us how that unconditional love could redirect one persons life and find its real purpose. really love the fact that shane west and mandy moore gave life to these two well-loved characters

Yeah I'm a dude. I fell in love with a Muslim girl 7 years ago. This movie gives so many similarities unfortunately our story ends different. She gets married with someone else, I become a ghost who fails harder and harder at life. God I miss her and this movie just remembers me of our relation. She was so kind, so nice. I was such a dickhead. She learnt me what true love feels like and not finding it ever again so far it truly the hardest thing. Ik mis jou zo.

There are different tones to the two films. Both have ethical underpinnings & both will have you in floods but I think where A walk to remember trumps the notebook is the sense of spirituality & goodness. Its fascinating watching ones reaction to certain fantasy genre series. If the main character is righteous in fighting good against evil thats good but great is when there is kindness, humility, self-deprecating humour & good.

This was the first movie I watched with my wife, 20 years ago right after we'd met. 8 years ago our 2 year old daughter was diagnosed with leukemia. Thankfully she recovered and is a clear, happy 10 year old, but the chance of it coming back means I'll probably never be able to watch this movie again. I wish we had movies like this again, ones that told simple stories of real-life tragedies encased in beauty.

I've seen it more than 10x and I've cried in all those occasions. I'm even crying now even with these short clips. This hits right in the core even though you haven't experienced any of the characters' circumstances.
Best romance movie ever made and I'm proud that I'm with the generation that witnessed it the first time it was shown in cinemas. :)

No I cried my eyes out like a baby at that scene when Jamie was running away and Landon started to drive contemplating the fact that his girlfriend is sick with cancer even my cousin who is a guy loves the movie and thinks that it's sad that Jamie is sick I even have the soundtrack to one of the songs that's titled you

Loved this movie as well as The Notebook. However, there is also another tear jerker from the early 2000's which has a similar theme to A Walk To Remember. The movie is called Here On Earth and it stars Lee Lee Sobieski and Chris Klein. They have great chemistry which really makes the movie memorable.

I watched this now and it was heartbreaking I was about to cry
My favourite scene is when he makes telescope from his own hands and gave to Jamie that one was heartbreaking and romantic
And also of that prank
It is better then Titanic
Fight with me

when Jamie admitted she was sick I got teary eyes only because I was shocked by that turn of events but when Landon swallow his pride and ride over to see his dad and beg to see and have him check Jamie had me on my pillow crying like a broken cow

This movie broke my heart to pieces. I watched this movie with my friends at the cinema like literally 3 times in a row. Everyone in my school was so hyped to see this movie before it came out. I had the book and everyone just kept borrowing it.
reply

Its the most perfect plot because its a real plot to the authors families plot. A heart breaking ended yet life learning ending. Nothing beats a little family story telling, so sorry to all my lovely Notebook & All the bright places favourites!

Started like a team romance kind of thing, but something about Mandy Moore is so much more mature and the writing itself how's that this is way behind your typical story let alone a teen story
reply

This is a best romantic movie to live on through the years. I love Mandy Moore and Shane west together. They were a perfect match. One of my favorite movies, I never get tired of watching it.
reply

Of course because thats the true meaning of love because pretty much you never turn your back on the one person you really love thats the one thing importance in life what makes you human inside

I remember watching this in theater when I was 13. It's still one of my favorite movie to watch. My favorite line is 'Her love is like the wind I can't see it but I can feel it

This movie only received a 27% rating on the highly respected Rotten Tomatoes review website. Because of this I can no longer take any of their other ratings into consideration.

I have seen this movie more times than I can count but the part when Landon reunites with his dad gets to me every single time. That hug between them feels so genuine
reply

This movie is the gold standard of heartbreaking teen movies and part of the reasons why others decided to hop on the bandwagon of teenage love turned tragic.

Why am I crying while watching these clips? I first saw A Walk To Remember when I was in highschool, and now Im in my mid 30s, it still has the same effects on me.
reply

Gotta say, _MsMojo_ that this is the third of your videos that I've enjoyed. The first was the 10 _DeckerStar_ scenes and then the most awaited TV kisses.
reply

one of my favorite scenes in this movie is when landon desperately asked his dad for help to cure jamie. you can tell that he really wanted her not to die.
reply

This the best Hollywood romance movie. I can't find something like this anymore. Also jamie is the kind of women I'm inspired to be in this cruel world
reply

This movie was so good but I cried my eyes out. I didn't know anything about this movie so it was more heartbreaking not knowing what to expect.
reply

There is only one movie that makes me cry. And A walk to remember is it. It doesnt just make me cry, it makes me bawl my eyes out.
reply

Sorry to TITANIC & THE NOTEBOOK fans but A WALK TO REMEMBER is just top tier and a chef kiss. A romance movie that we all need.
reply

heart wrenching the whole entire movie with all of the scenes mandy moore shane west oh yeah tears for sure in any scene
reply

I feel like we don't talk enough about Landon telling Jamie, as a reason why she can't be sick, that she's perfect 2: 45
reply

I watch this movie when I was 14
Now I'm 32 I watch this movie again at Netflix.
Now I'm crying again.

Bro when he hugged his dad who abandoned him and cried in his arms and said I love her so much I lost it
