I saw Coco as how the music industry treat song writers and the songs the write. If you hear Hector's remember me, it is softer, has more meaning( at least to me). Ernesto is almost pop like, what most people in the music industry think people want to hear. Ernesto's version is not bad at all, but it shows how when a song get sold to a different artist or a song gets covered, by a more popular singer, the original artist gets little to no credit for the song.
Example: Run by Snow Patrol
Gary Lightbody wrote the song originally. Leona Lewis did a beautiful cover of it, but every one thinks she wrote it( especially in the USA, BTW I live in the USA) because that's the version that made it big in the USA, not the original. I heard the Snow Patrol Version first. I loved the song so much i got it tattooed on me after my dad died in 2014.

I dont get it. This video was supposed to be endings that didnt mean what we thought they meant. But everything she said was pretty much more elaborated description of the very meanings we thought we were supposed to take away. Ive seen the 11-year-old plot hole mentioned in videos before. I dont think its actually a plot hole. Theres certain behaviors we all have in adolescence which stick when we become adults. If at 11 years old the prince was a spoiled little monster, it was really a very short timeframe to which he can make true a turnaround. Pretty sure the enchantress saw the princes behavior and went nope! I am not allowing this little brat to run a kingdom. Youre grounded until you get your shit together.

Now, if the female dies - as she did in FN - one of the undominant males become the new female. Since Nemo is the only undominant male, he's destined to become female upon reaching maturity. And Marlin is destined to be her mate. THAT is the REAL reason Marlin searched the entire ocean for Nemo.
This theory is also supported by the fact that the creators said they wanted it to be as close to nature as possible.

Can we talk about Peter Pan, if you look at the original text and where it began and the subsequent royalties with Royal Osmond Street Children's Hospital. this becomes more dark. The Darling children are alone in the nursery, Wendy is looking after them with medicine, all of a sudden Peter Pan (Angel) turns up and takes them to Neverland (Heaven) to meet the Lost Boys (Kids who never grew up, because they died young) battling Captain Hook who always looses (This is his hell) to a bunch of kids. Then the Darling kids return to the real world because the medicine kicks in and saves their lives. The Darling kids periodically die. let that sink in.

Yeah, and the bittersweet scene with Carl looking through his adventure book is a major turning point with him, even though they never made it to Paradise Falls together, Carl still gave Ellie the greatest adventure ever, life with a loving husband, its when Carl comes to realize this that hes finally able to move on, while he was so caught up in the promise he made he never truly realized that adventure is out there but its not always far away, every second of our lives is an adventure, and its because of this Carl lightens up and sets out to rescue his friends, the only ones hes ever had

I'm really sorry for writing this, but I never agreed with Peter pan. I'm not going to grow up. The most important thing I learned from my grandfather was to always stay a child! I hate when people claim that Ariel changed her life for a man. She wanted to become human LONG before she even met Eric (does the song Part Of That World not ring a bell. Eric just became another reason and what Ursula made their contract revolve around. The REAL message is that Ariel went after for what she wanted in life and didn't let anything hold her back, not that she gave up everything for a man; that's such a narrow-minded claim.

okay what i really think about peter pan is that peter is an angel or demon whichever one you want, but anyways hes trying to kill the kids and take them to never land (heaven/hell) and the lost boys are all boys who got lost in the park in london but really peter took them and killed them. yeah ik its dark but it was totally something we considered when we did the play at my school

It was pretty touching to me when Ralph reasons with his insecurity virus-self about even though friends are apart, they will always remain friends, no matter where they live or go, and I can agree with that, sure did help things get better between him and Vanellope. I can respect Vanellope's decision to live in Slaughter Race as long as she and Ralph can be friends.

i thought it was weird that people were mad at Ariel for leaving her family to be with Eric. because isnt that what everyone ends up doing once they find the person they want to be with any marry them? of course you can always visit them theyre family, but youre starting a new adventure with the person you love, i couldnt understand why people didnt see that.

I know MsMojo hasn't brought that up and has indeed shot down the misconception but it's plenty popular elsewhere in media and the Internet and has made me stopped following some people because they put the misconception forth as a legitimate meaning.

I never saw Ariel's story as her giving up everything for a guy. She ALWAYS wanted to live with humans- she had a cave full of things she found from ships and that bc she was SO fascinated with the world. That didnt start with eric- seeing Eric was just the catalyst of her story

Glad to see the gross misinterpretation of The Little Mermaid is being adjusted. She wanted to be human and she wanted to be where the people are. Prince Eric was just a part of that desire. The movie ends with her having a choice and being able to decide where she belongs.

Strictly speaking, in the original story the little mermaid chose to die rather than murder the prince so that she could become a mermaid again. The sort-of-happy ending for her is that she had a chance to earn the immortal soul she wanted even if she didn't get the prince.

That's an interesting take I don't think I've thought of before. The Disney version of Alice in Wonderland can be a reflection of how most children feel. They don't fully understand the world around them yet and it seems like the adults are crazy.

For the Peter Pan one, my childhood was kind of ruined because of the fan theory that Neverland was a parallel for heaven/ the afterlife and the reason no one grows up there is because they are dead.

I absolutely love Coco's ending. Seeing Miguel and Coco sing together is one of the most beautiful scenes in not just any Disney/Pixar film but films period. They perfectly executed it.
