I hate Jacob and Bella's kisses after reading about it in the books. He forced her by emotionally manipulating her saying he would die in the fight with the newborns unless she asked him to kiss her. Even when she tries to push him away he says you can do better this, Bella. Then when she shakes her head he says Are you sure you want me to come back? Or did you really want me to die? Yeah no. Jacob is a no for me.

These came out when I was 35 and very serious about my movie consumption. And tbh I kind of enjoyed them for what they were. Fun. But I would never admit that to my fellow film aficionados. I never read the books. But I appreciated the universe. Now Im thinking about giving all 5 another go. At the very least for nostalgia reasons. Especially the soundtrack and fashion. Good Times.

This might seem dark. but I loooved the scene when Bella drinks blood to feed her unborn child and said it tastes soo good. baby blood thirsty already! Also, the scene when Bella back breaks and she practically bends backward in half because the baby coming. how TERRIFYING! and most appreciative of motherhood and what women go through to have a baby! Dag!

The Twilight films are pure escapism. It works mainly because of the chemistry between the leads. Harmless. Great to watch all 5 films during this pandemic.
Thought New Moon was the worst of the 5 films. Eclipse was the best I felt. Great soundtrack too. But it just beats the first film.
