Fun fact about the title song, is that Angeles Lansbury almost turned down the song, as she didn't think she was the right person to have recorded the song. And she had asked that somebody else should sing it, and Disney asked her to do 1 take of the song in case nothing else worked. And that 1 take ended up in the movie, if she had her way who knows what what character would have sung it in the movie. Makes me wonder if today she regrets almost turning down the song.

im beauty and the beast biggest fan without a doubt i know the whole film word for word, ive seen the broadway musical many times and i have the extra dvds so i have to disagree with the whole order that you've put these songs in, beauty and the beast (the song) should have been up there as number one im quite disappointed really i usually love watching these videos: (

My favourite Disney movie. I even flew to Singapore purposely just to watch the Imax version, and also to Kuala Lumpur just to watch the broadway. Love it.
The recent movie really is a disappointment I must say. Emma Watson can't sing. Her voice spoiled the movie.

I was enraged when Evermore was not nominated for Best Original Song at any film awards ceremony. I am similarly furious with its exclusion here.
Also, Don't Fall in Love should have been an honorable mention. Tim Curry is the king of great villain songs.

I like, and love the descendants take on Be Our Guest that had really added more rock flare, and made it even more edgy, and singable, but I couldn't listen the song Beauty, and the Beast without singing a long. That song was that amazing, and beautiful.

They cut it from the movie but kept it for the stage. When I had a cassette player it was on the Disney Princess cassette and explained on the cover that it was cut from the movie. But the song stayed with me since I was little.

Lol, Tale as old as time wasn't first, either the top 1 is amazing or this ranking is wrong. Uff, the imagery is good but the song is so lame. Is best songs, not best musical numbers. Beauty and the Beast should be the top spot
