Can _honestly_ say that the 'Southern Vampire Chronicles' _are_ 'True Blood', _just_ in another dimension! You know they share characters, rules & certain situations. Just longer & completely different. Readers & HBO series lovers alike _will_ enjoy them! As for 'Dexter' the books are 1000% better than the TV series! Series season #1 IS _very close_ to book #1, however after that the books are _way_ too graphic for Regular TV. Maybe HBO or Netflix BUT I very much doubt it. Yodeling Potatoes. That's _all_ I'm gonna say.

20) I love Lucy Maud Montgomery, so when I heard about Netflixs Anne with an E I immediately added it to my list. and Im gonna watch it soon. :)
12) I never got _sucked in_ by The Vampire Diaries. Im not saying its bad (objectively its quite the opposite, but it never said anything to me and I much prefer True Blood.

Hearing them say that the Gossip Girl books are better because they dont have the boring adult stuff just made me think back to being a kid trying to read them, discovering theres no Lily and Rufus and being super disappointed, bc thats the only part of the show I truly enjoyed

Anne with an E at 20! You're out of your mind if you think that show wasn't better than most of the shows featured on here, it should be top 10 hands down. The ones I do agree with are The Vampire Diaries (although it could be closer to the top) the 100, outlander and GOT.

I know that you guys are very North American focused so I can understand why Puberty Blues isn't on the list, but if you get a chance, it's worth a watch. It perfectly captured late 70's Australian surf culture and heart of the book and movie.

I think if Watchmen was an honorable mention, meaning graphic novels are being considered, then The Walking Dead deserved a spot on the list. It's been popular for a long time and was a game-changing phenomenon when it first came out.

Books aren't always better than films, books seem better because my imagination is always better. No production limits or budget restraints too hamper my visions for the story line. No edits for running time and/or episodes either.

Mine is Vampire Diaries I read it years ago in like 9th grade. When I heard they were making into a tv show I thought Ian would be a great Damon! Love True blood as well hate the ending in both books and show though!

If Pretty Little Liars is on the list shows like Under The Dome, The Dead Zone and Haven should be as well.

Also, I really liked Rizzoli & Isles! It wasnt very faithful to the books, from what I hear, but I still loved it

Hannibal books are so good. If you like this genre you'll love the books. Too bad we didn't get to see Clarence Starling in the Hannibal series.
