Riley and Maya should have been number one. There is no friendship like theirs. I don't think even Cory and Shawn cared about each other as much as Riley and Maya cared about each other. In 'Girl Meets I Do', Shawn told Cory that Katy was first in his life and Cory was second, maybe even third, and Cory fired back that Topanga was first in his life. But in 'Girl Meets Sweet Sixteen' Riley says that she's hopeful for her relationship with Lucas, but confident that she and Maya we're forever.

Riley and Maya should have been number one. There is no friendship like theirs. I don't think even Cory and Shawn cared about each other as much as Riley and Maya cared about each other.
