Yeah I don't really care about the whole include trans/plus size models I don't mind said beauty standards because at the end of the day it's not a brands responsibility to make their consumers feel good it's those customers to embrace their body imperfections I'm a 21 year old man who has a few pounds on him, but I'm not torturing myself when I see all these guys with washboard and and muscles of a Greek god. Sure it makes me feel a little shitty to see it but I've been through SO much that it simply doesn't faze me anymore. Some people are more beautiful that me that's fine, their are things that have made my skin thicker, I was born with an immune system problem which only occurs every 1 in 250, 000 people it is passed down from mother to child, here's the kicker my mother, she doesn't even have the gene to give me my disease so the fact that I have it makes it a random mutation aka a de novo mutation which increases the rarity of MY disease from 1/250, 000 to 1/ 1. 5billion. Theirs people healthier than me, that's a fact due to my disease I can't walk haven't been able to since I was 9 years old, and I'm not torturing myself with the fact that no body on TV is in a wheelchair, I'm thankful for the health I do have, for the fact that I have my family that loves me unconditionally, and lastly the fact that I could be much worse, cuz I could. It's alright to feel insecure from time to time but it's our jobs not to let those insecurities bring us down by focusing on the positive things we have. Yes it's easier said than done but the world isn't fair it's full of injustices and we can either be miserable for said injustices or simply accept them and focus on the positive.

Victorias Secret in general needs to add more bra sizes honestly - and their associates need to stop lying about customers sizes just to make a sale. I was told over and over that I was a 40E when my true size was a 32J and it caused my shoulders to hurt so much until I went to a specialty shop and got bras that actually fit me (which is also where I discovered my true bra size. VS needs to diversify their sizes. Theres obviously lots of other places they could stand to diversify as well, but Im only going to comment on this one since its not one a lot of people point out.

Kendall and Bella are not deserving of wearing angel wings. Neither are supermodel material and not exactly all that desirable. At least with Gigi, she is naturally stunning and more well liked.
Another gripe I have with VS is the poor diversity in terms of body type and ethnicity. What's wrong with a woman who is athletic and/or shapely!
I think VS has ran it's course. Time for change, and positive changes at that.

She just so happened to come at (and honestly not even rudely) one of the biggest pop stars on earth and who has the most intense fan base. I've been done with the VS brand since they don't support women in general. I used to shop there until I reached 30 and realized the marketing is really for teens/extremely skinny girls in my opinion and don't get me started on not having bras for breastfeeding moms. The quality of their products are horrible (now instead of say maybe 10 years ago.

I think its dumb that vs models have to be 5, 8 or taller like bruh thats so unfair. It makes girls think that not only should woman be a specific weight but also a specific height? That crazy! Theres this image that society has created for young girls that they should grow up to be 5, 10 of skin and bone.

In response to the cultural appropriation I'm Chinese & I really don't find their Chinese style outfits offensive. Tbh as far as it goes with Cultural Appropriation in my culture, I only get offended when people are openly mocking & that's their intention.

As a Straight Man who is not a Prude, I am however, I am a proponent of being genuine, I have to admit, Victoria Secret deserves every bit of criticism they have gotten, in terms of body image, lack of diversity, and balant peer pressure advertising.

Honestly, I'd love to see a size 8 on the runway. I love inclusivity, but having two extremes like a size 0 and a size 14, while a good start, isn't really ideal. A RANGE of sizes in their advertising would be great.

If Victoria's Secret wants to survive in this day in age, then they're going to need to add diversity to their lineup. Shorter models, more body types, models from all backgrounds, including the LGBTQ+ community, etc.
