I know Bloodreina was harsh, but she did what had to be done at the time with very little experience as a leader and poor guidance from her advisors. I appreciate that everyone is entitled to their own opinion, but Octavia managed to do what no other leader on the show has ever been able to, including Lexa. She truly united the 13 clans and 125 years later, they are still Wonkru, which means she must have done something right. It also drives me crazy when Bloodreina/Octavia haters blame her for the massacre at the gorge and claim that she was only power hungry. None of them (Octavia and Wonkru) were aware that Clarke had betrayed Wonkru and informed McCreary that the eye in the sky was down so the prisoners could fix Montys hack. None of them knew that Kane and Diyoza had turned themselves in and Kane gave McCreary all the information he needed to demolish Wonkru. Clarke and Kanes betrayal also got Raven, Echo, and Shaw taken prisoner after they had taken the gorge and signaled to Bellamy and Wonkru that the path was cleared for a surprise attack that would ensure Wonkrus victory. This also caused Shaw and Raven to be tortured. Octavia and Wonkru were given the all clear and were betrayed in a truly heinous way. Clarke and Kane were forgiven rather quickly, and the Bloodreina detractors never acknowledge that she was willing to sacrifice herself to save Bellamy, Gaia and Indra despite all their assassination attempt and failed coup against her. She sacrificed her heart, mind, and soul for Wonkru and this video showed she was also willing to sacrifice her life for her people, bc that was all she had left to give. Octavia is the best and most complex character on the show.

I find that we too often forget the relationship between Octavia and Kane. This video made me realize how close they were. We see Kane in almost every scene mentioned here. It's the same for Indra, which you think about more when you think of Octavia. But which still remains a relationship often put aside, while we also see Indra in almost all the scenes mentioned here.

Ummm. during the conclave she didn't Dominate in the arena. She ran, hid, and took advantage of the work/killing of others. which don't get me wrong, was SMART AS HELL, but I just didn't like when Ms. Mojo said dominate as I thought the Conclave was the perfect mixture of Octaiva: Passion, heart, love, fear, bravery, and intellect.

Wow this show is trash but I didnt realize the most garbage character was celebrated. Shes exactly what a female would think guys think is bad ass but really its just 100% cringe and absolutely nothing more than that. Totally unlikeable, egotistical and the embodiment of a Mary Sue character.

Turning against her own brother? Did you forget that Bellamy spent the entirety of s3 betraying all of them and Lincoln, Kane and Sinclair where in this position BECAUSE OF HIM. If anybody turned against anybody, it was Bellamy being the traitor he is.

I know Pike was a figment of her imagination, but I still don't think he was seeking redemption. Pike was evil and made horrible decision but he stood by them and wasn't trying to redeem himself for killing Lincoln, he was doing it to save his people

I think her most badass moment was when Dyoza was explaining to everyone how they would get them out of the bunker, and no one made a move until Octavia gave the slightest of slight head nods. And Dyoza was like, dang!

I watched all 7 seasons this past weekend. Octavia was The Bad Ass Prime. The adults manipulated this young girl to do things to establish order when they were Cowards not to do it themselves. Best Character Arc.
