Maleficent not only copies Wicked, but they couldn't even embrace the original Sleeping Beauty story or ballet for her backdrop. Her TRUE story was that she was outcast for being a different race. They tap-danced all over that to arrive at a weird and awkward story about a relationship with Aurora's father and how he broke her heart and betrayed her. In 2014, the best movie was Big Hero 6 in my opinion.

I agree with the Narnia one Lion which in the wardrobe was one of my favorites I've got to see several of them in the theater one even premiered on my birthday at the theater and we were traveling and we went to the last showing of the day and we had not very much time to put things away where we were staying at my grandmother's house before my cousins came to pick us up to go to the movie

Did you just say you was leaving out Disney Star Wars on a video about the top 21 best Disney Movies because, That would make it way too hard to narrow things down. Yeah not going to lie you lost some credibility with that statement. I assure you, Disney Star Wars is on no ones top 100 Disney movie list.
I'd put 1940s Fantasia before Disney Star Wars, And I'm black.

So. just realizing sort of a connection (missed crossover opportunity) between Queen Narissa from Enchanted & Regina from Once Upon a Time - both the evil step-mothers from Snow White and both send people to a place where there are no happy ever afters aka our world
P. S. sorry if someone already said this, I didn't even check the comments lol

The top Best Disney Movies of Each Year (2000-2020) that I recognize and enjoy watching are The Emperor's New Grove, Monsters Inc, Lilo & Stitch, Finding Nemo, The Incredibles, The Chronicles of Narnia: The Lion, the Witch and the Wardrobe, WALL-E, Up, Toy Story 3, Frozen, Maleficent, Inside Out, Moana and Frozen ll

You disgust me with your choices!
First off, Frozen II is absolute garbage and completely undermined the whole point of the first film. Frozen as a whole is completely overrated and its best for the public to just move on to the next thing. Frozens time is over!
Also, Moana over Zootopia? Really?

reply

Fun fact: the Weta Workshop, the one who made most of the armours and weapons in Lord of the Rings and the Hobbit, also made the armours and weapons in Narnia (because the location for Aslan's Camp and the battle was in NZ)
reply

for all the Gleeks in the back. Elsa and Kristoff were both big characters in Glee. though as much as you hate him in that tv show for being an ass. he is amazing in Hamilton and of course Frozen.
reply

Honestly if I created this list I wouldve included the MCU ones and just chosen them lmao
Also the emperors new grove absolutely slays probably one of my favourite Disney movies of all time

reply

After Encanto came out, i was thinking it would be amazing that Disney did a movie based in Peru. Then i remember they kinda already did with the emperor's new groove so, that's OUR ENCANTO
reply

Hard to pick just one.
So narrowing it down to 3.
1) Chronicles of Narnia: The Lion, The Witch and the Wardrobe
2) The Emperor's New Groove
3) Lilo and Stitch

reply

Lilo and Stich are my favourite most of all and Finding nemo and there a show call Brooklyn Nine nine when season 7 Adrain Permento has a memory loss dou his couple of head damage
reply

It's a nice video, I'm surprised you didn't mention The Jungle Book 2, Piglet's Big Movie, and The Lizzie McGuire Movie. They're also 2003 films.
reply

How come I only liked The Emperors new groove and Maleficent in this long list. The others dont resonate even close. Loved Maleficent in particular
reply

Is there a list for like the 80s-90s? Most of these I haven't even seen because I was already an adult with a job by about 2003. :/

17: 57 I swear the She's from the other studio line was one of the funniest one-liner I've ever heard in the history of Disney cinema!
reply

26: 35 You know how people say Its not as good as the original I think it's better for more older audience. But that's my opinion
reply

Man or Muppet was a terrible song, and only won the Oscar because it was the better of the two) songs, total, nominated that year.
reply

980: Atlantis: The Lost Empire is the first disney movie I saw in theaters and for Pixar, it was Toy Story 2 for me as a kid
reply

Moana and Coco are two movies that just TOUCHED my heart. Coco still makes me cry everytime I watch it, same with Moana.
reply

Hear me out they made Moana, right, Polynesian mythology. Disney should make an Indigenous Australian Dreamtime movie.
reply

I think the guy who voiced Kronk also voiced Flynn in the Skylanders games, and the large deer in Open Season.
reply

Rewatched Narnia and have to say how underrated it is as one of Disneys live action movies! So much nostalgia!
reply

Yesterday I watched lilo and stitch and it damn deserved to get the honour of best disney movie from 2002
