I love calling her Whoopsie Goldberg! Shes no stranger to controversy, but I cant believe she didnt address Kelly Osbournes RACIST remarks about people like me, as Hispanics! She REALLY thinks I only came to this country to clean toilets? Shes also the type of person who got Speedy Gonzalez canceled, but most of us loved him! Hispanics are not the dirty ones. Its the liberals who are ARE the real dirty ones! Kelly Osbournes gross, but when Whoopsie Goldberg heard what she said, she didnt say anything along the lines of we dont say that stuff in my show! Im a Hispanic immigrant and Im really annoyed how people assume that I only exist to clean toilets!

Was Mel racist? I cant answer that, any more than Whoopy can. Im Mels age, white and was born and bought up in Australia, and by today's standards our upbringing would be considered very racist, right up until I was in my 30s. We laughed every night at jokes that would be considered extremely racist today - every night on our TVs. Hoges, Kingswood Country, The Comedy Company, Hey Hey its Sat etc - and alot of the adds on TV were full of profiling too - alas it was the way. I will say the difference is that It wasn't done with hatred in mind (although I'm sure that they did offend people. I can honestly say Im not R today, I hate most people, black and white.

Can we leave personal feelings between co hosts on The View behind the scenes, I thought The view was about what is going on in the world and invite people in the entertainment industry to come and be interviewed. But now all we talk about is being politically correct, Im a white female and as a child I was discriminated against because my grandparents were immigrants from Macedonia, I wasnt considered to be white or a full Canadian I was bullied. And hated school because of this

Ann Coulter has no room to talk about ANYBODY. Raven-Simone was 100% correct, if these ppl would give their children real names, maybe they would get further in life. No, it is not acceptable to make fun of ppl for their names, but if you are noticing that ppl with these disgusting names have a more difficult time, SET YOUR CHILDREN UP FOR SUCCESS and give them a normal name stop trying to be so different from the rest of the humans on the planet

This show being on the air is a clear indication of American standards (or lack, thereof) in television. The fact that the show encourages verbal abuse between hosts and guests is ridiculous. All they do is yell their opinions at each other about topics the producers think up. We, as parents, try to keep our kids from this kind of pettiness, bullying and verbal abouse towards others, and this show condons it.

I have to say that I'm not a big fan of Rosie O'Donnell myself, I don't hate her but I'm not a fan of hers. I do adore Whoopi. but, I did have to agree with Rosie when she and Whoopi became argumentative with one another about racism. Racism can happen to anyone DESPITE what race/nationality/ethnic group you may be!
