The USA, a country that - with some exceptions- is made of NOT grown up kids. Hilarious and monsters at the same time. Little has changed in 2023.
Reps vs Dems, xans vs not xans, blacks vs whites, wests vs easts, norths vs souths, ALL engaged in a war for supremacy.
These last two public scapegoats are two more pieces of a nasty puzzle called power. One piece at a time, and yet, nobody has figured out how the whole picture looks like.
The funny thing is that therere individuals and institutions with precise responsibilities for the soft-killing that get away without any charge.
The only beneficiary of all the above is the MAFIA/CRIME made of nasty individuals who celebrate their accomplishments. The happy bunch that believes it owns deservingly - by committing crime - what it gets.
History is also written by those criminals and thats a well-known fact.

The parts on the show where Monica says no one will ever marry her right before the hit the fan & then after it did when she says she just has to get through this & in 10yrs when shes busy with marriage work & kids & all this will be in the past was what was helping her get through it I was so sad for her & just kept saying Poor Baby over & over. Im glad she did get through it & even if her life doesnt look now like the way she imagined it would then that shes still happy & leading a full life. What she was put through then No one should be put through the public shame & scrutiny she had to endure & such a young age was unjust. If she wasnt strong & didnt have the support of her family things couldve turned out very differently & then all those ppl that contributed would have had blood on their hands.

I really wish Starr had looked into the Clintons' relationship with the Communist Chinese government. I remember when Clinton was running for the Presidency back in 1992, he was lagging in the polls but by late summer, he surged ahead. We all learned later it was because his campaign received an infusion of cash from Chinese leaders in exchange for them having access to our military secrets. That, to me, was treason and he should have been arrested and removed from office. But then we probably would have never heard of Monica Lewinsky or Linda Tripp.

I don't fully know the intentions of Linda Tripp. but I certainly do not have the distain for her actions that most do. I think at worst she made a bad decision thinking that as an sort of mentor friend she was helping Monica do what Monica would never do. I think she really thought she was helping. Sure the whole book idea makes it seem like she was self-interested. but I don't know how much weight i put in that.

The Actress playing Monica looks Nothing at all like her. And Sarah Paulson is one of those Truly talented Actress who goes all out by taking on a whole character including heavy make up and prosthetics, the works! And still kicks but compared to other Hollywood acess who are just a pretty face and nothing else

I do not remember Monica Lewinsky being that overweight. She was chubby for 90s standards. But not that big and she didn't have such a wide back. The actress looks more like Ricki Lake than Monica Lewinsky. They got all the other actresses right as far as looks. I just discovered this show and it is so good.

This is one of the first times I've seen a biopic where the main character is way more attractive in real life than their actor counterpart. Monica is way more beautiful than the actress who plays her. I feel like they just took some random girl with the same attributes, short, dark-haired and pale.

This is an example of why you ALWAYS have an attorney before talking to anyone in law enforcement. They lie and manipulate. The scene in the hotel room is gut wrenching. She was only 24 and terrified. Its appalling what the Starr team did to Lewinsky. She was depraved of her basic rights.

I think in Canada we dont want to know about this kind of thing. Its personal and they have to sort it out internally
But it is useful to learn how to avoid these situations. It is useful for women to learn about their own responsibility for honey traps and boundry setting.

She's had plenty of therapy and has her role down well rehearsed but this was the lousiest series of the season and was almost laughable! A total thumbs down on a story that should never have been dredged up, everyone involved had zero moral fiber, especially the Clintons!

I usually dont watch this type of show but I really like it. There were so many details I never knew about. And Johna Hills little sister really shined bright as Monica. Also, Sahara Paulson nails Linda Tripp. Both the story telling and the acting is outstanding.

I watched it, twice. I found it very interesting and was totally absorbed in what went on behind the scenes. I thought the acting was excellent especially Paula Jones and linda Tripp. They did a great acting job and I thought the whole series was done very well.

A real let down after the impressive OJ Simpson and Versace seasons. Dull writing that added nothing to the way we think about the scandal, Clive Owen unconvincing, Book Smart girl too short, too fat, and the hair and makeup artists did a hopeless job.

I really enjoyed this season, thought it was really good.
It didn't take sides, and the women who were affected by this were portrayed as people, not just as. The center of a scandal with nothing to humanize or distinguish them.
