James Michael Tyler Gunther has dark hair. The day before the audition his roommate, a hair stylist, wanted to practice bleaching hair and did so on Michael. Upon the audition he mentioned he had experience using a barista machine and so he was hired. When he mentioned about his hair and that he was going to let it grow back they said, No! It's perfect.

Thinking of things you may not notice in Central Perk.
In one episode there's a woman sitting at a table by the window. She's drinking something from a cup but it looks likes she's eating. Could have been a hot chocolate with marshmallows but you can't see what it is. I see in the video you said that the extras don't have anything in their cups. But i wanted to mention it anyway.

when joey came in and said less than 100 they live in the same building with monica and rachel it's not just joey and chandler's place it's also the girls as for the reserved sign for the couch scenes why were the bullies in season 2 trying to take it away from ross and chandler not the same consistency right there

The Potato was a whole joke with the Kevin & Bean morning radio show, on KROQ in Los Angeles. They had a whole joke about making The Potato famous and they knew someone working on the Friends' set who got the set designers to put it there as an easter egg.

Wait! Wasn't Central Perk located on the bottom floor of Monica/Rachael: s & Joey/Chandler's appt's? Often times they say someone went to the apartment upstairs while in the coffee house. Are have I been living a lie for 20 years?

For some reason, in my mind I always thought Central Perk was on the ground floor of their building. I know if probably isn't but growing up watching this show, it just made sense.
