These are the best movies in my opinion that not many people appreciate. I find Atlantis: the lost empire a really good movie because the story and characters are very interesting and the action in the animation is really intriguing. A Bug's Life is another worthy movie because it was one of the first movies Pixar has made, and it wasn't that bad in my opinion with its characters and computer animation. And the road to El Dorado movie was pretty with its main characters and their personalities, while the plot may be a bit confusing, but it has some interesting ancient times, so it's worth a spot on my list.

Prince of Egypt has beautiful songs and visuals, but my issue with it as I rewatched it few weeks ago is that it is about religion, and I'm definitely not the target so I was rolling my eyes since the moment Moses meets with the bush. Loved everything before, but then it felt like sectary proselytizing to me
(Btw no need to come after me those who are into religion, it's my belief and you have you own, it won't change and we can all be happy anyway - and we'll never meet so who cares)
Also super disappointed that The Iron Giant didn't make the list, makes me cry every time I rewatch it, but glad Anastasia and Spirit made it!

Hello, i need help
So there is this one movie i loved but i cant remember its name So its older movie about two siblings (brother and sister) that are sleeping in their bedroom when suddnely some small creature shows up in their room and teaches them how to fly so they can go to the world of dreams. (it looks like a big cloud) And when they go there they see all kind of dream creatures and they meet like a queen of dreams idk, but i vividly remember the ending of a movie being somewhere on the moon, where kids are in the rocket waiting for it to launch so that they can go back home if someone remembers it would be great

Umm. How is The Emperor's New Groove underrated? For YEARS I was the only person in my age group I knew of who had never seen/wasn't completely in love with it (my mom can't stand David Spade and refused to let us watch it growing up. Point is, I was DEFINITELY in the minority. I don't necessarily think Anastasia and The Prince of Egypt belong here, either. They're the two best-made non-Disney animated films in existence, and I actually feel that plenty of people are aware of this. I'd have replaced these three with Balto, The Hunchback of Notre Dame, and any of the included honorable mentions or Thumbalina

I remember seeing Spirit in theaters when I was 10 and it was an absolute pop culture obsession for quite a few years but then sadly decreased in popularity and now hardly anyone has heard about it. The Prince of Egypt is something EVERYONE should see, even if theyre not religious, for its a powerful message about never losing your hope and overcoming obstacles, and the Oscar-winning song When You Believe is STILL very popular among many artists to this day!

U forgot the hunchback of notre dame and Joseph king of dreams. The hunchback of notre dame has amazing songs and one of the best and terrifying Disney villains ever. No other animated disney movie that is displayed the way frollo is. Seeing him get even darker and more wicked throughout the movie was awesome. The movie was all so emotional and really taught u a real important message and was so beautiful and the music was amazing. As far as Joseph king of dreams, its not as good as the prince of Egypt, but its very close.

I love The Prince of Egypt. At least, it won the Oscar for Best Original Song with When you believe. But yes, sadly it's been a bit forgotten. even when the studio got Whitney Houston and Mariah Carey to sing the Academy Award winning song. It deserves better.
On a different topic, I really like The Sword in the Stone. It was before the Disney renaissance but it works for me.

Being a parent of children who grew up in the late 1990's and early 2000's, it is interesting to observe people who make jokes based on movies they watched with their children. For example, those of us who watched Emperor's New Groove numerous times will laugh when someone makes a mistake and says Wrong Lever, while everyone else just gives an uncomprehending stare.

How are Megamind, Road to El Dorado, and Emperor's New Groove even on the list while Last Unicorn and Iron Giant are honourable mentions, and The Adventures of Mark Twain isn't mentioned at all? Look up The Adventures of Mark Twain. It is awesome! I'll also give an honourable shout out to A Monster in Paris.

A Bugs Life is one of my top favorite Pixar movies And love the honorable mention for Brother Bear.
About Anastasia tho, I dont think thats especially underrated. Its always seemed popular and widely loved as far as Ive seen, especially among the 90s kid generation. Its even been adapted into a Broadway musical.

Anastasia is one of my favorite non-Disney animated movies, followed closely by Spirit. The Swan Princess was one of those movies that I rented from Blockbuster and watched repeatedly all weekend long. The Prince of Egypt has one of the best soundtracks. Hans Zimmer is amazing.

Ok Treasure Planet not even getting a honorable mention. now whos being unappreciated? That movie was golden based off Robert Lewis Stevenson's Treasure island. This movie took the book and literally turned into a mind blowing adventure with a few laughs along the way.

I've seen most of these and I love a lot of them! Anastasia was one of my favorites growing up! The swan princess! I didn't have this movie. But a friend did. I saw it once and never forgot it! Emperor's new groove! The princess of Egypt! This was an amazing list!

Surprisingly. MsMoJo's No. 1 choice, The Prince of Egypt, started as an inspirational accident of Spielberg & Katzenberg. when DreamWorks Animation was just formed. Turned out to be a remarkable Biblical tale with a serious animation & filmic pedigree.

The real sad thing is even Dreamwork doesn't appreciate The Prince of Egypt enough(or at all. It's like they forgot they existed before Shrek. While I think The Prince of Egypt surpasses all of their movies and even all of Disney's.

Every Jewish kid and a good chunk of the adults know about the prince of Egypt. And now it is a classic to watch before Passover starts. LOVE that movie! They also did joseph king of dreams which is worth a look up.
