As a 26 year old entrepreneur, i was looking for inspiring business movies or series to watch. It is now 3 AM, i could not stop binging The Dropout series. I stumbled onto this without diving too deep in the trailers. During episode 1, 2 and 3 i was rooting for Elizabeth because the entrepreneurial spirit it takes to overcome obstacles. About 4 episodes in i started hating this woman with every fiber in me. By the time she changed her voice to be more deep i was about to pull my hair out. Can you imagine the bone chilling shock i got at the end of episode 8 when they started listing the real-life case updates, it was literally just then that i realized this was a real life event. I am young and not from the US, so i never heard of Theranos or the real Elizabeth. This is insane on a level unimaginable. Elizabeth, you are a disgrace to all Women, Humanity and the entire Entrepreneur Society. The fact that even after all this, you can remain cool about your crimes proves you are a psychopathic monster with alien eyes, a demons hart and an insufferable pretentious voice. I hope justice prevails in honor of all lives lost, families ruined financially or in health. F YOU!

When she became a big thing (before any allegations of wrongdoing) I watched a few interviews with her and I told everyone I knew unabashedly that I thought she was a fraud (knowing ZERO about this scientific field. All the tell-tale signs were right there, in her speech. Everyone called me crazy, told me I was jealous of others' success and brilliance, etc. Well, not that it's a laughing matter, but who's laughing now, suckers? Honestly, I have zero sympathy for people who lose money in scams like these. If you can't figure out you're dealing with a fraudster after you've met with them (which anyone investing over $150, 000 in a startup company does, then you're a horrible judge of character and thus poorly equipped for investing in startups.

I am always amused when she gives these people as example, since one of them is the child of an owner of emerald mines, one got a contract through their parent ensuring permanent employment and use of his skill since he was more or less the first to do this, one used the work of others and frankly none of them were utterly uneducated in the areas they were going to work in with one exception but at least he EMPLOYED experts in the field. On her side, she did not have any knowledge on the matter of chemistry or biology enough to be genuinely able to understand the matter.

Continually comparing her to people who were great inventors and actually created something that did change the world is a wrong that so many in the media did and in some cases still does. She lied at every level and every step, even the fact she changed her voice pitch which literally meant every word was in a way a lie in itself. No doubt she's intelligent, and no doubt she is a dangerous sociopath. I cannot believe the members of the board were never held accountable. It seems to show that if you're elite, you have a shield to protect you in white collar crime.

I have an English class that Im taking which is fully based on Holmes and the Theranos situation. Before the class, I had heard about Theranos and was very interested in the mindset of Holmes and how she could put so many patients in danger. I love that the class made me take a deeper dive into the situation and watching this show made it much more entertaining than watching some documentary about it. I hope she truly learned her lesson, even though it seems like she has no remorse at all. She has to know that what she did was wrong at some point.

I am disappointed with the way she deceived the public. I'm a natural blonde and have spent my life trying to convince people that I not only have natural blonde hair, but, also have some brains in my head. I find her approach to success presents a problem for women that are trying to move forward In my opinion, she has a grandiose opinion of herself that draws people to her, but, she really only cares about making money. The show is pretty trash. I really dislike how they try to humanize and make people sympathetic to this psychopath. They act like this privileged white girl had all these hurdles that she just had to overcome as even if ANY of it was true could make one excuse or even understand the lies and people she was willing to hurt to achieve her goal of being a billionaire and her narcissistic dream of being one of her heroes.

The story of Elizabeth Holmes and Theranos has always fascinated me. I honestly believe at first she had truly noble intentions. But her ambitions turned her into a monster. She knew damn well the technology was years away from matching her vision, but she didnt care. At the end of the day she was playing with peoples lives and she deserves her punishment.

Gibbons' death seems awfully suspicious considering the timing and legal threat he posed to Theranos. He committed suicide THE DAY BEFORE HE WAS SCHEDULED TO TESTIFY IN COURT? And the company is being run by a couple of dirty, fraudster-scam-artists? I'm shocked there hasn't been any further investigation or inquiry into his 'suicide'.

This pathological liar and sociopath is now married and has a child - in my mind a premeditated attempt to circumvent the worst of the possible 20 year jail sentence for financial fraud to be decided by the court in late 2022 - another manipulation. Great show, very compelling acting by the entire cast.

The 60 minutes episode did her and Sunny IN. Using humans in trials in which you know the machines are not functional is morally wrong on so many levels! People's health and lives are in danger. If it were widgets, that may be a different story, but health is on a different level.

I loved Seyfrieds performance; spot on imo. However, I despised what this phoney and her partner did to innocent people! The people who produced this series did a very good job sticking close to the truth and not extending this story over many seasons, thank you very much.

Elon Musk finished college (if you refer undergrad studies as college. He double majored in physics and Econ. But he did drop out of his PhD. So Elon Musk is more like Sergey Brin and Larry Page (grad school drop outs) than Bill Gates and Steve Jobs.

The series was pretty good, but the lead was no where as pretty as Holmes, and terribly shorter, why didn't they cast a real pretty girl, this was without a doubt why investors fell head over heels for her. This was the biggest mistake for casting,
