I enjoyed this list. However, I propose an extension of this list & probably reiterate this list as well. Bud & Kelly Bundy from Married. With Children; Jaleel White(Steve Urkel/Stefan Urkelle) & all of the Winslow children in Family Matters; the Camden children(Matt, Mary, Lucy, Simon, Ruthie & later on the twin baby boys) on 7th Heaven; the rest of the OG Saved By The Bell cast, not just Zack Morris; hell, the cast of All That, particularly Kenan Thompson, Kel Mitchell & Amanda Bynes, among the other cast. I never watched Game Of Thrones, so it doesn't matter to me, but it's cool that they grew up on the show as well. Do another take or an extension of this list, WatchMojo.

I know it seemed that this list focused more on those shows in the 21st century, but the first thoughts that came to me were the Wilder girls (particularly Melissa Gilbert) on Little House On The Prairie, all six Brady kids from The Brady Bunch, the Partridge kids from The Partridge Family, the four main actresses from The Facts Of Life, the five Cosby kids from The Cosby Show, the character of Michael Evans from Good Times, Tina Yothers from Family Ties, Erin Moran as Joannie Cunningham on Happy Days, Ron Howard as Opie on The Andy Griffith Show. This list should have been a top 20 because you seriously missed A LOT!

I really didn't think zack and Cody should have been number 1 to be either the Tanner sisters or Cory and Topanga should have been number 1 as we saw Stephanie start out as 5 year old and we see her again in her 30s and we see DJ at 10 then in her almost 40 and a mom now the same with Cory we see him as an 11 year old then a father those to me those 2 should have been number 1 and 2

Kyle Massey aka Cory Baxter from That's so Raven and Cory in the House. From his first appearance on screen, he was adorable! But then he grew up and all that adorability went away. I'ma keep it in the family and also say Jason Maybaum who plays Levi Grayson. The most adorable little guy with a super cute lisp and by season 4, he was becoming a man. It was so weird.

I realize you are referring to Prime Time TV characters but one that really should have been included is Robin Scorpio on General Hospital. She is probably the only child character on a soap who never got SORAS'd and was played by Kimberly McCullough from age 7 in 1985 and still makes the occasional appearance 37 years later.

My first thought at the title was Michelle tanner, so I'm glad she's there.
Most family sitcoms have children you've seen grow up. But maybe Roseanne should have had an honorable mention, especially with the conners now on tv. Or Tommy from 3rd rock of the sun.
Something for a second list perhaps.

If you had to talk about a character that really developing I would say Dr Quinn's youngest son on Dr Quinn medicine woman when the show started he was just a young boy and by the final made for TV movie he was going off to get a job as a young adult.

Christine Larkin, Stacy Keanan and Christopher Castile are pretty major cases, as during Step and Step, they changed a lot, especially Christine. I feel Angela Watson changed the least during the show's run, and mostly looked pretty similar.

If you do a second top ten, you could include the Cosby Kids, Bloosom, Punky Brewster, Leave it to Beaver, Different Strokes, Family Ties, Growing Pains, Family Matters, The Degrassi Series and Little House on the Prairie.

calling Miley Cyrus rock star bwahahahaha
also, i don't think she and Sophie Turner belong to this list, they were already teenagers when their shows started, 5-6 years is not a big difference for a teenager

Ok so you mentioned Ricky Nelson, but left out about 30 others and just talked about recent shows, the entire cast of the Waltons, Laura Ingalls, the Bradys, raven Simone, beaver, and so many others.
reply

Im sure its not on this list, but Robin Scorpio from General Hospital should be here cuz viewers have watched Kimberly McCullough grow up as that character since the age of 7 and now shes 43.

The Olsen twins didnt do fuller house as they had no connection to the show. They were infants when the show started and 7 when it ended. They dont remember anything from that time.
reply

As I agree that Zack and Cody should be on the list, I think that Cory Mathews should have been #1. I mean he was 11 when the show started and then married when the show ended.
reply

Cory Shawn & Topanga should have been in the same ranking. I grew up along side the shows Boy Meets World & Full House and tbh I was easily able to relate to these characters

Sansas transformation was a pleasure to watch. Except when it was horribly brutal. But she deserved everything she got by the end. Can you do a list of animated characters?
reply

Ritas kids from the Showtime hit Dexter, were very little to begin with and by the end of the shows 8 season run, those kids were hitting their teenage years.
reply

Brandy? Urkel? You missed a lot of fine young actors! Mayim Balik were seen through most of life's stages. I can't wait to see her next life moment.
reply

What about Trixie from Lucifer. Scarlett Estevez just turned 8 when the show started and was a few months away from turning 14 when it ended
reply

Some you missed: Winnie Cooper on Wonder Years, Topanga on Boy Meets World, Brad and Mark on Home Improvement, Arya Stark on Game of Thrones.

Is it because of my age or my strong defensive feelings for Full House, that I think MK & Ashley/ Michelle Tanner should've been number one?
reply

I miss long running sitcoms, but when it's worth it. They don't have to be works of art, just always funny, amusing and with heart.
reply

My personal favorite is DJ on Rosanne. Especially with the reboot, you really get to see him become a whole person.
reply

Kit Cloudkicker and Molly Cunningham would've been on this list. #Ducktales #Talespin #Ducktales2017 #AdamPally #ElizaCoupe
reply

I still understandably question on why Malcolm In The Middle, wasn't chosen. and for lists, cause how long has it been.
reply

Sad that freddie benson from icarly isnt on here. especialy now that theres a reboot and hes got a beard goin on now
reply

For the sprouses, Cole was just a baby when he played Ben on friends. So we see even more of a transformation
reply

Y'all talked about Luke from Modern Family, what about Lily
We literally watched her grow from a baby to a teen

reply

How about Sabrina Spellman on Sabrina, the Teenage Witch? Mayim Bialick on Blossom or how about just 90s TV shows
reply

Did she actually say that Carl Gallagher had the hardest time growing up- on a list that includes Sansa Stark?
