In fact, I listened to most of the songs when I was younger with my parents. I didnt realize it was about anything weird, I was to young. I loved the songs and I dont regret it. now Im older and I get the more explicit references, but I dont care. They are great songs and I dont regret a thing bc Im fine

I mean, you keep talking about how the songs are too absurd to use for a Kidz Bop album, but that's kind of the point. While they do use some tame songs, it's mostly music meant to sanitize popular music so they can listen to all the popular music that many adults don't think is appropriate for them. The more popular AND inappropriate, the more parents will want a Kidz Bop version.

I've listened to Kids Bop songs, ever since I was a kid, and I've never guessed that the originals had inappropriate lyrics. On top of that, Paparazzi was my favorite song. Of course, there are hundreds of songs that I like. In fact, I don't understand the meaning of a lot of lyrics of those songs. I listen to them, because I like the tone in the song.

some breakup songs are kid friendly I was raised on country and this was late 90s early 00s country on top of my moms classic rock so I heard my fair share of break up anthems and it did nothing to me it actually helped when i did have my first break up I immediately had a list of songs to blare to make me feel better
