Half of these were actually funny. The first lady got me respecting her attitude. I wasn't laughing, but I liked her. Betty is awesome, and I absolutely agree with her, but that wasn't a funny bit either. I was hopeful when Steve Martin showed up. but he fell flat. Paul Simon was adorable. Eddie Murphy, brought hope back. but once again didn't deliver. I was getting really disappointed by this point.
Kumail was the first one to actually make me laugh, I was starting to worry. Then Norm and Robin. they never fail, they're the only perfect picks for the top spots.

My favorite SNL host monologue is definitely Taylor Swift's. I have a link to it and I go back and watch it frequently. She was still just a kid then, and there is something about her putting the word 'douchebag' into her song that cracks me up! I have read many interviews with former SNL writers and they said that writing the monologue is one of the toughest things for them to do. Then Swift walked in and said, Hey, I've got this great idea for a monologue song, and they were thinking OK. Easiest week ever! Thanks, Taylor.

Catherine O'Hara explains how she wishes that somebody told her that Steve Martin's arrow through the head bit wasn't real. (1992)
Dan Levy explains how the phrase Eew David has haunted him for the rest of his life. And his father being kept in a high plexiglass isolation box, that he didn't know about, after he flew from Los Angeles to New York.

Good grief, lady. Shut up! Your long-winded praises over the top of the comedy was criminal. They are so much funnier than you. Let them be heard so we can laugh, too. You get five words for every one word from the comedians? Nothing you said made me laugh or marvel; it did make me ponder homicide.

Darn - I got sucked in again! I saw the headline, but didn't see it was by Mojo, and sure enough the narrator just talked and talked and talked, rather than let the subjects talk for themselves. I'm surprised you still get away with this, Mojo.

I wish that Bernie Mac is still alive in 2022 but everyone has to respect Betty White. And what about Eddie Murphy, did he eat Mexican rice with chopsticks as Chinese food before hosting Saturday Night Live on December 21, 2019?

Before watching this I would have said, Robin Williams, hands down every time. Followed by Betty White and Norm McDonald. Thank goodness for reruns. We can watch them over and over again. (Thanks to Desi Arnaz)

Britneys SNL monologue in 2000 when she had that mechanical boob thing omg. Haha I can't. That was my fave. I mean how the hell did she do that and the way she did it on time. Lol

I believe every clip on here is extremely funny, therefore it wouldve been nice to hear what the person was saying instead of the incessant ramblings of the narrator.

Fabulous dress Alexander McQueen, Paul Simon Still Crazy After All These Years!
Id like to see Chevy Chase and Beverly Diangelo together again!

Thumbs down! Why? 99% of the presentation was narrator. How the heck can you show how good the monologues were if we don't hear any of them.
