These aren't what most people think of when talking about the Mandela Effect these are just either misspelling something or miss hearing something else!
I have always said and understood that it is The Flintstones, since I was a kid even, because Flint makes since, since most everything in the show had something to do with rocks of some kind, anyone who thinks it's something else, are just remembering it wrong!
Like Darth Vader and Luke, I am Your Father or Beam Me Up Scotty from Star Trek, people just heard it wrong or more likely, people in the media at some point said it themselves wrong, which made people think it was true, figuring they knew what they were talking about!
But I do remember at least one of the REAL believed to be a Mandela Effect thing, the guy from the Monopoly game having a monocle, and I am not the only one in my family who thinks this, my two older brothers do and my mom did, don't know about my dad, we never asked him about it!
But as far as the thing that it's named after, I do remember that Nelson Mandela was freed from prison in the 1990s and even became president of South Africa!

As a South African, you cannot imagine how irritating it is to hear the phrase The Mandela Effect. Typical ignorant Americans. Rather call it what it is- false memory. Mandela was our president! He only died in 2013. He was a huge prolific figure. When we won the 1995 Rugby World Cup, or hosted the 2010 World Cup He was there, broadcasted for the world to see.

On Mad Men it was said that Donald Draper's catchphrase was If you don't like what they're saying, change the conversation. But I have seen every episode of the series many times and I only heard him actually say it once. I know that's how he lived his life, but I don't remember him saying that line more than once.

Maybe the Mandela effect for The Flintstones started when someone from Utah said the title out loud. In Utah, everyone tends to omit the tfrom the middle of certain words. For example, mountain is pronounced moun-in, and fountain is pronounced foun-in. You never know, but it would make a lot of sense.

#6 and #5 really don't count in my opinion, because Bart DID say Cowabunga and Chandler DID say Could I be. Just because it wasn't repeated in every episode, doesn't mean people are misremembering. Re-runs are a thing, so many HAVE heard those lines repeated, over and over.

I don't know if it was Mandela effect or if it exists, But i seem to remember watching a full episode of the nanny as a kid in that cartoon style of the intro.
It was a kind of fantasy journey where they were travelling. But I can hardly remember anything from it.

I grew up in Brazil watching The Flintstones and a few years ago I got a job at Cartoon Network in the UK so I had to edit some episodes of the show. First thing I thought: Oh, here they spell Flintstones with an extra T.

As a very young child I used to believe that when Fred Flintstone got really mad he actually swore on the show because my mom did that and I guess it reminded me of it! Hahaha!
