No, Lost Boys, Blade, and the original Dracula with the iconic Bela Lugosi? Watching Bela Lugosi as Dracula was memorable and my first introduction to vampire lore. There is no one like him. And if you want to add TV shows. Yes, Buffy is #1 but A Discovery of Witches is my #2. Matthew Goode as a vampire Oh holy hawtness! The man can do and be anything. My favorite book series that has witches, vampires, and demons, living amongst humans. Its a must read and must see series.

Ive never heard of the first one. What the freak? And I had a major vampire phase. Dusk till dawn, nope, havent watched it because Im not a fan of George Clooney. I mostly watched romantic ones. Again, A girl walks alone. Ive never heard of. I dont like reading subtitles too much due to the fact Im dyslexic. I have like, let the right one in. I adore Bram Stokers Dracula. So to say we all watch. Nope. Missed your mark.

Prince of Darkness by Hammer Studios starring Crhistopher Lee as Dracula and Peter Cushing as Van Helsing was my introduction to vampire films. It's a pity the film Van Helsing was left off the list. It's such good fun, but seriously, why does Perfect Creature never get any love. It's the most original vampire movie I've ever seen, and I've seen them all (except Twilight, for reasons.

Interview is number one with me. I saw it the year it came out and since then I've seen it 407 times since it's 94 debut. I can pick out the music cause I have the soundtrack, no matter what part it is I can say what happens in the movie. I know every line. And spare the hate for my over indulgence in this. Us parents have had to rewatch the same thing over and over

Not only did this list ignore The Lost Boys, it also ignored The Hunger, which included David Bowie, Catherine Deneuve, and Susan Sarandon. Heck, Ms Sarandon's ex- husband was mentioned (or implied) by the reference to the original version of Fright Night (he's the vampire neighbor.

There are so many popular vampire movies to choose from but I'm shocked they didn't mention Blade, Nosferatu and of course The Lost Boys. Vampire in Brooklyn was less popular but it was funny. I hope they move on to vampire TV shows because True Blood would be at the top of my list

Vamp, The Lost Boys, Dracula's Daughter, and while reading Twilight was fun, no. just no to so many things from each of the movies. Anne Rice all the way, Bram Stoker's Dracula (yummy, Gary Oldman. my first experience crushing on a man my father's age, very weird.

How could you have missed The Lost Boys? You put in What we do in the shadows which is a comedy and more for fun than anything but everyone that loves vampires, the 80s and just good films needs to see The Lost Boys! You missed the mark on that one!
reply

Im sad that lost boys was not mentioned in this video, but in my opinion in the video switch twilight and interview with the vampire. Interview with the vampire will always be the best vampire film ever made, and will always be my favorite.

I've only seen two of these movies. One was by chance when I was a kid the other was by choice. I saw interview one night I couldn't sleep, I turned on the TV and it was just starting. And I only saw the first movie to compare it to the book

How do you NOT have Lost Boys but you put Twilight, Twilight! The one where the vampires sparkle! in this list as number one! You have outrank Interview With a Vampire and Bram Strokers Dracula? And Underworld? Like? What!
reply

Dracula, interview with the vampire, and lost boys were my first vampire movies I watched as a kid, since then I've always love vampire movies and the the TV shows also like vampire diaries, and the originals

'Byzantium' should've been included in this list. As far as I'm concerned, it is one of the greatest vampire movies ever, plus it is a great deal more grounded in reality than the 'Twilight' saga.
reply

I only watched 5 of these. Underworld, Dracula, Interview with a Vampire, Twilight, and the honorable mention Vampire Acadamy. Instead of the other crap I watched Once Bitten and Vampires.
reply

#1 the absolute worst film franchise I have ever seen in my life. There is nothing of value and no redeemable qualities in these, poorly acted, badly written, soulless piece of crap.
reply

Where is 'The Lost Boys'? Better yet, where is the most sensual vampire movie EVER, 'The Hunger' with David Bowie, Catherine Deneuve and Susan Sarandon? Twilight? OMG, what garbage!
reply

I'm 72 years old. I cut my teeth on Todd Browning's original Dracula, and before that, on Nosferatu (the silent version. And here's a tip: REAL vampires don't sparkle.
reply

Hold up. How is The Lost Boys not even an honorable mention? No, it shouldn't even be an honorable mention it should be on the list. Period. I'm just baffled.
reply

Thanks this list made me realise I dont like vampires any more. Which is a shame because I actually like a couple of them but goddamnit this list is terrible.
reply

I do not agree with number 1 at all. That spot should have gone to The Lost Boys. Twilight was and is one of the worst movie/books about vampires ever created.
reply

I love Underworld! Its the first vampire movie I saw. Until I got introduced to Let Me In, Twilight, and Interview with the Vampire: The Vampire Chronicles
reply

Ummmm wheres Blade? John Carpenters Vampires? How many comments mentioned Lost Boys! You had 3 movies on this list Ive never even heard of.
reply

Are you kidding Twilight as#1 and yet no mention at all of The Lost Boys? The Lost Boys is a far better film than Twilight could ever be.
reply

Id say underworld. Kate nailed this franchise. But what kept me going was TVD. Still is the only vampire related story I go back to regularly
reply

Van helsing started my vampire phase. After I discovered Interview with a vampire, I was so deep in this theme that it's probably forever
reply

The fact that #1 is twilight instead of the lost boys is absurd. Twilight is a teen romance and has almost nothing to do with vampires
reply

Are you shitting me! Twilight is number one on your list! Do you people at MsMojo have something wrong with your brains!
reply

Pretty disappointed that 30 Days of Night, Daybreakers, The Lost Boys and John Carpenter's Vampires we're not mentioned at all.
reply

I've only seen 2 of these movies Vampire Academy and Twilight sue me I don't like super old movies I love romance and teen movies
reply

No Lost Boys? No Daybreakers? NO BLADE! FAIL! Usually the lists are pretty spot-on but this one misses the mark by white a bit.
