As someone from Wisconsin who watched the coverage when Dahmer was arrested and on trial, I can say Peters' portrayal feels true. He got the voice, the affect, and the physical presence spot on, and does an outstanding job portraying a monster without going over the top. Dahmer was able to fly below the radar for years, and this shows how he did it. I also appreciate how it is clear that Dahmer used his whiteness and perceived normality to manipulate others and discredit the community he victimized.

Havent really watched American Horror Story thats why Im not that familiar with Evan Peters. But after watching Dahmer, boy, I was impressed! One of the best actings Ive seen. Such a great actor.
The overall casting was great! Richard Jenkins & Niecy Nash were perfect for their roles as well. And the lady who played Rita Isbell deserves Best Single Performance for nailing that court scene.

I appreciate him coming forward and saying this was uncomfortable for him. No actor wants to be stuck in a type cast all their life either. Imagine being only known for villain performances all your life, especially when such heinous things are opposite your true nature. I would want to walk away from that too.

I understand the victims families feeling about the movie reliving it. But they don't have to watch it & it is a horrific moment in history & shows you can't always take people at face value. I have ultimate heartfelt sympathy for the families & I will keep praying for them

What exactly was in that sandwich Jeffrey tried to force Nicee Nash to eat? Up to this point he had avoided taking revenge on regular people outside of the young men he chose to date. Is this present something factual from the record of the neighbor or imagined in the series?

I think its important to retell these stories. Jeff was an extremely disturbed human being, made worse by family ignoring the warning signs and refusing help. If this show being made can help even one person get the support and mental health care they need, its worth it.

This seems impossible, but in looking at the series closing credits, episode 10, Michael Learned as grandmother Katherine does not receive a mention. Perhaps because she does not appear in the closing episode but the cast listing seemed to encompass the entire series.

Its amazing to me that after Heath Ledger, Hollywood still subjects these poor actors to such horrific roles. While I understand that he made the choice to take the role, my heart goes out to Evan. . I dont know that it was necessary to make this series.

As creepy as these series were you wouldnt think so by looking at Jeffrey and watching his interviews, the guy didnt give any red flags. He himself questioned how it all happened and wanted to know. Evan Peters did a mesmerizing performance.

Evan Peters was phenomenal. In the role. SO convincing! I believe Evan, Richard Jenkins who played Mr Dahmer and Niecy Nash who played Glenda Cleveland all deserve awards for their performances. Every actor in this series was fantastic!

Incredible performance. Is Oscar worthy in my opinion. But I don't agree it didn't focus on gory details; it was graphic and I do have empathy for the victim's families for having to relive this.

I didn't like the beginning with the first man who got away because in real life, in the court, he said he was straight and the series portrays him to be gay. I just don't think it's accurate.

I have studied the Dahmer case for years, since he was arrested in 1991.
Evan Peters did a fantastic job in embodying Dahmers mannerisms and even tone of voice. I was very impressed.
