Okay List but no Everybody Everybody (Black Box, Gypsy Woman, Shes Homeless (Crystal Waters, Show Me Love (Robin S, Finally (Cece Peniston, Rhythm is a Dancer Snap! - doesnt count by just teasing it at the beginning and not include it, Missing (Remix) (Everything But the Girl, Its Not Right But Its Okay (Remix) (Whitney Houston, Be My Lover (La Bouche, Mr. Vain (Culture Beat, Moving On Up (M People, or Rhythm of the Night (Corona? This list is NOT the greatest 90s dance without these cited.

Hmmmm, while I agree that the top songs were so iconic to that era, Whigfield - Saturday Night is easily the n1 90's ever. You think about 90's is probably one of the first songs that comes to mind and one of the most iconic. I mean, how a 90's best songs list does not include Whigfield is totally incomprehensible. Also, is probably the most played 90's song to these days at any party, event or wedding, way more than any song on this list, that says something.

I went through the 90s from age 3 to age 13. I danced on all of these songs in school dances, birthday parties, summer camp, talent shows, or just in my basement watching MusiquePlus (the French Canadian equivalent of MTV. This decades music and culture was my environment in my most defining years, its just part of who I am now as an adult. 90s girl forever

reply

What a minute! You went through ALL these songs and not a single mention of Marky Mark and the Funky Bunch, It's Such a Good Vibration? That song makes me dance more than 80% of the songs on this list. I don't even understand. Maybe you all need to go back and listen to it's greatness some more
reply

I agree with some of the songs. I just think they're in the wrong place. What is love at 14! Noway! This deserves to be in the 90's top 5. Where is Mr. Vain by Culture Beat? Or Another Night by Real McCoy? Get C+C Music Factory and the Backstreet Boys out of there.
reply

This seems more like a list of groove tunes that I'd love to listen to in my car, rather than dancing out on the dance floor. Rozalla? Mc Sar at the Real McCoy? Deborah Cox, even Whitney Houston. Those are the singers that you me on the dance floor.
reply

3 right off should've made the list. Blue-Eiffle 65, Corton-Eyed Joe-Rednex, n Hung Up-Madonna. A couple honorable mentions>We like to Party-Venga Boys n Love At First Sight-Kylie Monogue. All are awesome!
reply

None of these are good dance tunes. I don't know where your head it is at. But dance tune had more than 140bpms. Which mean you have to keep up. You need to check around again.
reply

The entire Real McCoy album is dance worthy, and my favourite 90's dance song is Return of the Mack by Mark Morrison.
Surprised that Cotton Eye Joe isn't on the list.

I just recently introduced my 3 year old Granddaughter to Barbie Girl and she listened to it in loop for DAYS! After like the third day I really regretted my decision
reply

While Scrubs is/was a popular song, I don't know if I'd put it in a category of Dance. I'm kind of thinking Chumbawamba's Tubthumping should be there instead
reply

Some glaring omissions in this one. No George Michael (how about Outside, no Michael Jackson (They don't care about us, for one, and plenty others too
reply

There is only 1 m song in the history of dance music that clubs played every hour. That song was Vogue NOT wannabee or basckstreets back or hit me baby
reply

What song is where in the music video. goes from a room to room - different colour rooms. Rooms are next to each other like a cube/checker board.
reply

Yo ye pharoahs, let us walk
Through this barren desert, in search of truth
And some pointy boots, and maybe a few snack crackers.

reply

I agree with everything on the list except No Scrubs. It should be Creep!
No Scrubs snooze me down eventually, but Creep is the bop!

reply

So much fun! 90s! High school in the beginning. Early to mid 90s college. Professional late 90s. So much fun!
Thanks for posting this.

reply

You can't pick Belive over Strong enough. Not even a whole minute in video and you already blew it. Did you even live in 90s?
reply

Couldnt they find attractive women for the Macarena?
I for one, would love to see T-Boz perform her moves from Scrubs!

reply

Black Hole Sun, won't you come, wash away the rain, Black hole sun, won't you come, won't you come. Is all I have to say.
reply

Lord, yall reminded me how old I am. I was a fresh-faced 16-year-old baby when # 1 was released. How time flies.
reply

My daughters where born in the 80's and I danced with them when I took them to their first time at the disco.
reply

Groove is in the Heart is easily forgettable because of its one hit wonder status, its a go-to dance track.
reply

Every song that's on this list is definitely on somebody else's playlist out there right now I guarantee that
reply

I was born in 77 and I know MOST of these songs and saw them on MTV top 10 Daily. Lord Im soooo old!
reply

I disagree with many of the choices. It would have been better to ask a DJ at a nightclub in the 90's
