Honestly, was looking forward to the show since I loved the classic 6 seasons and the movies. The classic show was so raw and apologetic in its points of view and perspectives on different topics, but this. this is just cringe fest. The wokeness of it all is just unbearable to watch, the same as our beloved characters acting like they're in their 90s not 50s. What they did to Steve is just horrible, but the idea that fans hate Che because of that is absolutely untrue. Personally, I hate them because they're just totally unlikable as a character and as a person, written over the top and expected to be worshiped, and a comedian who in reality is so damn unfunny, that it made me speed through the scenes they're trying to deliver the comedy gold. Miranda became annoying and cringy as well. Also. the way they handled Willie Garson's passing. Tokyo? Divorce? Really. Justice for Stanford. Justice for Steve. Justice for Samantha! Oh, and I really hope they wouldn't do Aidan dirty, I wouldn't be able to watch Carrie break him again, that's just lame. Justice for Aidan!

I want the same, for this to be a bad dream and Big not be dead. Why have Carrie run around for 10/15 years in love with Big for them to finally get married no obstacles and then he dies! Im a black woman and I loved the way the show was, not what it has become. The show can still be the way it was with them embracing their 50s and having awesome experiences. That whole Chez thing has to go, the uncomfortable mess with Miranda & the professor & going back to school needs to go. The story line for Steve sucks, why does Charlotte have to have a trans child, I mean just STOP IT with the adding the LGBTQ+A to every damn show! Stanford & his relationships were enough. I was so excited for AJLT but after watching first season I was mortified. Hopefully the second season is much much better.

Too many new characters introduced in the first season creating too many story lines that are not complete. It is like Carrie, Charlotte and Miranda each have a new friend. Closure for Stanford. Stop trying so hard to make everything happen at once and make all audience happy. Simplify and focus on a few story lines a episode.

How about we stop equating dick to attractiveness? Big got his name for a reason. when we saw Harry's, it was a larger prosthetic. When carrie told Charlotte about her weekly hookup, the first thing she asked was how big was he? When Charlotte had to find hot guys to replace missing ones, she got the hot guy with the big package. I guess the body positivity movement only applies to women.

In the REAL (NY esp) WORLD where single women outnumber men 10 to 1 (esp. in their age group. Steve would have no trouble finding someone better. younger and hotter. . and normally he even can poach from a rude wive's acq)uaintances. He would have no trouble and many more temptations than Miranda.

Just been watching SATC re run now as a middle aged woman, & realised what a narcissistic person Carrie was/is. Apart from great hair SJP is not an attractive woman & its an ego fest for her, wont be watching series 2.
