He's been my favourite actor since seeing him for the first time in drive. Guy gets alot of shit for just being a prety boy who doesn't act but just stands around smouldering which couldn't be any further from the truth. Guy does comedy, action, sings, dances, romance. Name another actor working today who has that kind of range. I love Tom hanks as much as the next guy but that guy has been praised to the hilt for 40 years for essentially playing the same character (Tom hanks) over and over

If Blue Valentine wouldn't have been number one, I would have had a real problem. Especially if it would have been The Norebook. If anyone here had extra time, research how Blue Valentine was filmed, what the actors had to go through, and it will blow your mind. You're welcome.

How much of this is Ryan Gosling, and who's made that weird movie, he's supposed to have made himself, from scratch? It's so STRANGE, and I freak out, he's so hunted around here! Please help him out! Thank you! // J

I know All Good Things wasn't that great of a movie, but his performance was immaculate and wildly impressive. GOTTA love that man! Ryan Gosling!
Also, my favorite Gosling performance is Driver from. YUP! Drive

First movie I have ever seen him in was The Believer and I have made it a point to watch all of his movies since. That guy has range and an intensity you dont see often. Often overlooked for his good looks.

I don't think his work in the movie stay is talked about that much. He was soo good as Henry Letham and the movie was an absolute gem. The most underrated performance and movie in my opinion.

Idk of yall watched this but his movie 'stay' was also underrated. Its like one of those lynchian mind bending thrillers, but unfortunately didnt get much recognition.

All good things. David Marks Aka Robert Durst who died January 12 2022! He was understated and said so much with a very quiet tone.

Ryan Gosling has the same laid back acting style of the late actor Robert Mitchum, he is mesmerising to watch on screen.

Luke Glanton should've been rated WAY higher. I absolutely love him in that movie, and he gives a masterpiece of a performance

nicely done. I've seen all of these over the years. which helped make his great performance in Barbie even more satisfying.

My only qualm with this list is that his character from Fracture isn't on here. He was a seriously cool dude.

I can't take my eyes off Ryan. Too bad I'm twenty years too old for him: . And of course, he's married too. Ugh!
