The one eye thing screwed Pat actually. From watching these he is the type of person to most likely only open one eye to look out of everybody playing, even though he wasn-t actually doing it, it still pointed to him being the traitor. Jenna picked up on this and accused him of being the traitor because of it. That-s the reason after he-s found out she instantly asks if he was only opening one eye, thinking that her assumption was correct, but in truth Clayton just gave out a false piece of information that actually messed up the game.

With games like this it's important to have people move around or to choose a silent way that the traitor can do their thing otherwise someone at the table always hears or feels that person moving and knows of their upcoming betrayal -
