one additional tip that I had to learn the hard way: a little ways into the expansion you'll gain access to quests that you perform with an NPC partner and no online component available, and these followers talk at you CONSTANTLY during the hunt. this on its own is only a very minor gripe, but what made it frustrating for me at first is the fact that their voice lines are associated with their own volume scale (thankfully, which also means that by default their voices will be set to 100% volume, so if, like me, you turned down the game's volume on all fronts for whatever reason, these followers will be way louder than everything else in the game. It is an easy fix once you know that they have their own dedicated volume slider, but save yourself the headache and turn it down to match your other volume settings before you run into them. I personally recommend turning them down to significantly below that of the other audio tracks in the game, because for some reason any actual dialogue that isn't just hunting callouts is categorized separately, so you won't miss any significant voice lines this way, but you will save yourself from hearing them constantly telling you about all the things that you obviously just did.

Very good video. I had just learned most of that in game but was very glad to reaffirm it and commit to memory with your concise video. There is SO MUCH new stuff. I cried a bit when I saw the new mechanics and areas, this campy as hell game series, through its adorkable world building and S tier weapon mechanics and S tier variety was always my fave game franchise but Sunbreak is pushing it to whole new unbelievable heights in my opinion.
One minor point I don't agree with: Dont encourage ppl to give up their armor skills for more defense, yes it's relatively sensible advice but folks you will be better hunters in the long run if you learn the monsters skill sets and how to avoid their attacks completely and you benefit immensley from the right armor skills if your build is actively using them. I'll persevere with my old gear until I can make new armor that compliments my playstyle, in the meantime becoming better at the game faster.

oh my gosh the hud option. i did not know you could disable ui elements altogether, this is going to greatly improve my enjoyment of sunbreak

I have a question. When is it a hood time to buy sunbreak? Atm I have completed every high rank hub quest, I am on my way HR 100, and I only have quite a few event quest to complete that seem quite hard tbh. Am I supposed to finish the event quest without the armor available in sunbreak?

I was so confused when the switch skill UI element just. remained. I was convinced it was a tutorial and it was somehow bugged by staying beyond the first time I used it. The HUD tip is a lifesaver. :D
