Thank you for this - Exactly what iwas looking for. The stats of the wolf armor are ideal, but I actually don't like how it looks (am I in the minority. I don't like the kind of crop top-ish length of the jacket - I feel like it ruins the medieval vibes that most all othe armor fits super well. This is one of my main gripes with the game. there are so many creative and weird armor sets that should be good enough to wear over the witcher sets! Sometimes a man wants to don a frilly collar and steel set. let my medieval ass cook

I suppose game developers have no concept of reality. The open front on this armor is just asking for a blade to ruin your day.
Guess I will stick to Feline Armor and gear. Even early base Feline and Ursine with only a cloth shirt sleeve makes no sense. At least in the later upgrades the Feline and Ursine actually become functional armor.
Shame that they designed this armor with no concept of reality of actual use in combat.

Guys calm down, yes this problem still exists on the console versions of the game, yes it still exists, on the PC it does not, but on the other hand it does not prevent you from creating wolf grandmaster armor and swords, because grandmaster equipment does not require for its creation armor of its previous stage.

Such a shame that the grandmaster armour is level 40 because i am always at least 5 or more levels above it and i can buy and craft better by that point. Although once i get it i use it for a long time because it looks cool and it looks better on you as a Witcher then Tussant knight armour or something like that.

I mean despite, there is the exact Manticore armour which he wears in TW1 this is the closest thing Geralt can get that resembles his attire. So the first thing would be hunting this gear, I wonder if this still works without glitches in PC.

My my favourite armour in the game is actually the warriors jacket Geralt has in the very beginning of the game, but this comes directly after. I just wish you could upgrade the original outfit to keep it for the entire game.

IMO almost all the upgradable Witcher armor in this game looks awesome. The only bad ones are the Griffin and Feline sets. The rest- Wolven, Viper, Manticore, and Ursine- are all super badass and awesome in their own way.

I actualy like witcher 2 basic armor set most. It looks like blue version of Lambert's and Eskel' armor. It does not make sense when you are from the same school and you are the only one who wears different gear.

My only problem with this armor is the collar. The hair and beard model on Geralt face often clip into the collar. The only way for me to enjoy this armor is to use the short hair style + no beard.

Don-t really like the basic one. once you get the enhanced one it starts to look real
Badass and I wouldn-t mind anything from the enhanced to mastercrafted. I-m good on the normal one though

I still want a viper school set, and I wish the mastercrafted feline didn't have those HUGE shoulder pads, they look like juggernaut body armor, not exactly my definition of light

Ursine is the best in my opinion.
I never had wolven armor because of a bug. but I only got the chest piece of Mastercrafted wolven armor in a mission for no reason.

There are the grandmaster branch too but only if you got blood and wine. Its like the same model as the mastcrafted wolves armour but the colours are red

I wish that they make the wolven armor a Main armor for geralt it obviously looks better than the Classic Kaer Morhen armor that just looks like the Viper armor

The wolf armor set is probably my favorite looking of all the witcher gear but I kinda thought the design seems a bit too modern for a medieval game, idk.

I love it how they've -fixed- Gerald's hair so that it's all tucked into the colar now, just like it'd always been with the Ursine armor.

Looks nice but Geralt still looks like a medieval gopnik in this set. I prefer the Ursine, Feline and venomous viper to this one.
