The No. 1 Song Worldwide in October of Each Year 1955-2020

video description

Rating: 4.0; Vote: 1
The most successful song on the worldwide charts in October of each year from 1955 to 2020 Another triumph of a video, beautifully presented and edited, a real mix of stuff as expected given the title. Mostly really brilliant stuff, some not quite so good, and some crap (you have to wait patiently if you want to hear the crap, cos its all right at the end, in those last few years, but youll recognise it clearly. its the autotuned, quantized, time-alligned, synthetic-sounding stuff that all sounds the same) great entertainment, please keep em coming!

Michael Jackson, ABBA, Mariah Carey, Everly Brothers, Nelly, PCD, Los del Rio, Kanye West, Pink, Black Eyed Peas, Bruno Mars,
Meghan Trainor. In the first of the last three months of the year. You give my old soul life. Thank you very much!

I actually had to rewatch the previous part cause I thought I watched the same video twice xD.
That last BTS song sounds horrible, not a fan of that music anyway.
My taste from the 70's, 80's and early 90's will always stay.

Nice but turning video off once it reached 1999, i could care less what garbage music is no1 after that year. Things just got worse after the late 90s. You could even tell during the mid 90s music was becoming generic and corporate.

I love this serie of songs worldwide! A beautiful trip in time! Lot of legends here: Elvis, Beatles, Stones, MJ, Madonna, George Michael, Mariah Carey. Happy to see Kylie in 2001! Thanks for the video!

Really cool things happening in the Spooky month! Thanks for the content SRG! Hopefully I’m here before the nostalgic people flood the comments (and maybe the entitled ones)

So weird. Being 50, each song in the early 70s described an era in my life while anything past 2000 is a blur of hits I wasn’t particularly interested in.

You can easily see the drop in quality of music starting from 1990 and it has been on a huge decline since.
R. I. P to real music 1950s-1980s.

Fun fact: Film Search sold Image Bank in October 1987. You know about music videos that that stock footage, eh

The ending with that BTS song was good, they are not my favorite group/band but. I kinda like some of their songs

Now I know why I stopped listening to the radio after 1980. Do sad the crap that's coming out of that thing.
