I could never be a foster. All I wanted was to make some dog from my local shelter to be happy by being taken on a walk. I couldn't last three walks before bonding with a dog. that damn dog is now taking up a third of my couch haha. If I failed just walking a dog. fostering. oh boy I'd have 5 dogs in my flat haha

I could not foster A dog, bring it back to wanting to live again and then abandon it like someone else did, that's why it was in the shape it was in to begin with. DUH! SO IF YOU DON'T WANT TO KEEP THE DOG DON'T GIVE IT FALSE HOPE ONLY TO LET IT DOWN. Just the way I see it.

I am a fellow foster failure. And I don’t regret any of it. I started out fostering to save Hanks life because he was HW positive, and they would only treat him if he had a fosterok. We had problems, but worked them outthat was 7 years ago. Love my Hank.

Don’t be a foster if you can’t see it through. It’s more cruel to bond with them and then take them back to a shelter. Glad this girl is keeping her. So many college students abandon them when they graduate.

Foster fails have weak resolve. Attachments should be shaken off. You do not know what you're getting into. Give them up!

The only way I could be a successful foster is if the dog wasn't nice to my current dogs. Otherwise, foster = adoption.
