Couple on Date Sees Teeny Kitten in Distress. See How They Save Her Life As an Sacred Animal Fosterer you do a Sacred Duty.
You get Little Puppy and Little Kittens who would have NOT made it to the point where they are healthy enough to deserve a Furever Home where a Family will love them from the moment they meet them to after they take their last breath (hopefully many, many, many years later.
A home where that Wonderful Animal YOU SAVED
Will never know hunger, never know fear, never know be alone. And when the time comes to Cross the Rainbow Bridge to Valhalla, know someone will hold them as they pass.
This this the promise I make to every animal I have had.
In the words of author Charles DeLint:
if you can not keep a promise to a Dog, who can you keep one to

I found my late cat, Meep, almost the same way. We were attending a birthday party and outside the local we found Meep. Emaciated, full of fleas and starved for attention. I spent almost an hour sitting outside holding her in my lap and petting her, while she purred. We took her home and got her up and running again. She later spent her life on my parents farm. We named her Meep, because whenever she meowed, it always sounded like Meep, even when she'd grown up. I miss her to this day. If there's a heaven for kitties, I hope she has a great life up there and maybe misses us a bit too.

Why did they get rid of this kitten when it had connected with them so well I couldn't do it. I have four rescue cats in my home (indoor, with climbing towers, scratch mats and more. I love them all and they return that to me daily. My 4th one was meowing out in the middle of our road around 4 in the morning and i heard it inside my house. She was just a tiny kitten. She is now playing with my biggest cat, Whizzy who i adopted last year. I also put out food and water on our porch for some of the strays that stop by during the night. They have become regulars now.

I'd be a terrible foster parent! I'd have a record of nothing but foster fails. Luckily, I'm blessed enough to live in the country, so there's plenty of land for my fur babies to enjoy and lots of places for abandoned furkids to choose from to live in (yes, including the house, but lots of the time it's not their first choice - they don't always trust humans enough when they find us, but the option remains open for later.

I don’t understand, why do people feed them can food when there is kitten milk which is highly nutritious. Thank goodness you seen her. When i got my cat she also fit in my hand, immediately took her to the vet. When I brought her home I told my dog, a jack Russell terrier just a baby and she ruled his life til he past away.

Zed was that big when he found me. I was sitting at home and heard him meowing outside my window. A neighbor had thrown him and it messed up his back legs, so he never could run correctly. 15 years later. he was a happy boy. Unfortunately, he passed right before xmas in 2022. Gosh just writing all that made me tear up.

I'd been the same. Any time i see an animal esp a cat or dog on the road suffering, my heart simply cannot take it and I will do whatever I can to help this soul. In my opinion, helping animals when in need is the greatest gift that animal could ever have. Thank you for all that you do!

Briana, let your husband know that I too had a favorite. My buds would tease me sometimes about How can a 6'3 285 lb retired infantry soldier latch on to a kitten. I live all animals, but cats teach you that love takes effort from both parties. Happy Valentines Day

Thanks for rescuing that beautiful little baby-- and GET OVER that needing WINE Crap-- NO ONE needs that trash. that's NO LOSS-- especially when you got a little gray lump of LOVE in place of that junk.

How is it that Cat lover's always seem to find lost kittens in the wild I like cats but I've never just stumbled across one that needs care! Let alone having the expertise and tools to take care of one

I found an all white one that size, thought it was a hamster at 1st was going of town but had a great vet that worked with me on many rescues. Dropped her for the weekend and someone adopted her right away

I will never understand how someone can foster a little one like that then let them go. I fight the urge every day not to be the guy who has 1000 fuzzy faces running around. Thank you for saving EJ!

Aww beautiful kitty, i wish they would have keep her, i don't understand how people can care for a small animal, and just give them up, i couldn't do it, but i am happy she got a new home
reply

God I could do NOT foster animals. I'd decide to keep literally every single one. After u help a baby animal love, and give it love, it's hard to let it go. Js

Good thing is to place an old fashioned ticking clock under the fleece/blanket whatever. It mimics the beating of the mother's heart. Sometimes every little helps.

Love watching this stuff. Glad there are folks like you guys around. The rest of the world can get. well. Those lil things are a LOT tougher than they look.

I've lost foster kittens to failure to thrive and it's absolutely heartbreaking. Seeing a kitten survive against all odds is why I continue to foster.
reply

I was sad. I was hoping you would have kept her. I don’t know how I could ever give up the 3 feral kittens I found in my backyard.
