I also wouldnt recommend a Samoyed for most people. They are truly gorgeous, very sweet dogs, but they shed in amounts you cannot imagine unless you own one. You might think a husky sheds a lot, a single Samoyed is like having 4 huskies. They are very needy dogs. They are also a bit catlike in personality - when they want attention, they will bug you endlessly for it, and theres times they just want to be left alone and wont put up with any of your crap.
These dogs require a LOT of care, and not just love, I mean you have to brush them out at least once a week, and ideally 3 times a week. A bath takes 3 days to fully groom them. Friday, bath, overnight, let them (mostly) dry, Saturday brush out, Sunday finish brushing them out. You do this once a month.
They are good dogs, but theres a reason I did dog rescue. Theyre a lot of work and people got overwhelmed. They are very sweet and nice, but its a real commitment especially when they get old. At the end of my dogs life, I would spend at least an hour with them almost exclusively every day.

friend of mine had a very big dont know the breed was a mix with boxer and somethink else they told me but that dog would never bark and was like a puppy so they got a cat that was attacked by a dog when a kitten was scared of dogs well it only took a few days before that cat was sleeping with the dog

I was asked to take a dog who lived with cats and loved cats. But she didn’t realise that cats were afraid of her when she called to them. So I got her a kitten. Then a stray cat turned up at my door and I rescued him. So she was happy and spent her days protecting the cats!

I miss going to the greyhound races, it's good fun and impressive how fast they are.
Them dogs love to race but unfortunately NOT ALL owners treat them right.
If their dogs don't perform, they simply get rid of them. That's the disgusting part of the race.

It’s really irresponsible to get your pet a pet just because they like an animal. And all the more irresponsible to walk a cat/let them outside like that. People who only care about how something is cute are just irresponsible pet owners

When we got three shelter cats we put up a baby gate at the bedroom door so our Dachsies could see but not engage. After three months we took it down, and it was like oh it's you. walk a way. Now they sleep together and get along just fine.

Omg I am exactly like this dog since I was little! All it took was some random cat on the street for me to get frozen and become easily distracted. I almost got lost this way one time
