Back in the 90's, my sons found a fledgling raven that had fallen from his nest. We got in touch with our local Audubon society. They gave us a ton of information. We fostered him until he could fly. We would take him outside so that his family knew where he was. The day he finally took off with his whole family was bittersweet, but happy.

A Tawny Owl flew into the windscreen of my lorry, I stopped and picked him up, and took him home. Two nights later when he'd recovered from his bump, I took him to work and dropped him off where we had the incident. I let him go, but he perched on the mirror arms of my cab, for a good 5 minutes, before flying off into the woods.

Very friendly birds. A shorteared owl once wanted a ride in my tractor. So I took her for a couple rounds. Showed her the controls. She was most interested in the hydraulic controls to lift the implement. Also the am/FM radio. ( I had just moved the four owl chicks out of harm's way)

You can keep this from happening to you (a bird flying into your window) by doing something to break up the illusion that the window is part of the sky. A couple of decals or opaque window clings will do it. They should be on the outside of the window for best results.

True story. Hit a falcon with my windshield at 16 years old. Wasn't gonna leave him in the street so I put him in my lap and went home. Can you say dumb and naive My mom helped get him out. 5 minutes later he flew away. Mom told me she almost had 2 daughters that day.

Birds especially young birds often fly into windows if they are spooked when on the ground - they see the reflection of the sky in the glass and fly into it - I've even had a few bouncing of the glass and coming in the open window above!

The hardworking owl was in the area to scout for potential students for Hogwarts. Exhausted, the owl flew to the nearest flat that looked welcoming enough to let him rest before the long perilous return journey to Hogwarts.

Don't touch owls with the palm side of your hand. You rub off the oil on their feathers when you do that. To properly caress an owl you gotta use the back of your hand, or better yet scratch their head, they love that.

Guys please. If you have big windows or balcony-terrace doors please place some nice looking window stickers. You will save a lot of birds this way. We coexist and before anyone this was their home first.

Owl: If you didn't use that dang gone Windex, I wouldn't have been injured. So, unless you want to hear from my lawyer, I'll be staying with you until I recover.

It didn't thank the family lol, it was just roaming around the area like owls do, but I'm not mad at the clickbait because the owl was too damn cute

This is definitely just like the scene where Errol crashes into Weasley’s Burrow window in Harry Potter and the Chamber of Secrets movie.

My number favorite type of bird. Nothing else like them on the planet! Can’t help but love their cute faces and independent blinking eyes.
