I’ve always loved pit bulls; their wide heads, their human like expressive faces, their smooth fur which smells like their skin, their colors, their muscles and their amazing personalities. Fully formed, 3 dimensional, just like humans. Yeah, I do know some of them snap and hurt people but I just can’t believe it comes out of nowhere and that their humans won’t see the signs. If you know dogs really well, you can read their body language. This is a happy, loved dog who has no insecurity, trauma, jealousy or depression. You can tell when that’s not the case and you pay attention and give strong boundaries. But pit bulls are so worthy of love and trust and patience.

It breaks my heart when people assume that pit bulls as a whole are bad because just their nature is so kind and so sweet. Is the best description of bull terriers I've ever heard as the owner of an English bull terrier it rings so true. Bull terriers are the most abused used and misunderstood of all dog breeds they are born to love but forced to do things that go against their true beautiful nature.

Oh my gosh, this is so irresponsible and terrifying to see. That precious child needs to be protected from some huge headed monster like that, he doesnt know the danger hes in. What a horrific video, shame on you for posting this nightmare. Like spitting on all the precious babies and children that have been mauled or killed by these mutants. Shame on you.

I know they are trying to make a point but no one should teach a child that it is ok to crawl and maul a dog, what happens is the dog gets older not so patient or the child goes to someone elses home and mauls their dog that isn't as patient and these kids get hurt. Children should be taught respect but personal space.

This is why pitbulls were called nanny dogs in the old days because they took care of children when you were at work if you were single parent there was no daycare back then you just left the dog with the kids in the house or some food and you went to work and you had to go to work. And when you came home the kids were safe.

If you ever want to know whether you should feel safe around a pit bull, look at their owner. How a dog behaves and their temperament is dependent on the way they're treated and trained at home. Not too dissimilar to us humans. Bad upbringing and unhealthy/abusive households create people that are sometimes dangerous.

I just cannot never understand why people allow their dogs to licking in the face and in the mouth dogs have a dirty mouth despite what everybody thinks and hears, they lick themselves, the nasty stuff that comes out of their bodies, they will eat anything I mean absolutely disgusting

Pitties were origjnally bred to be the nanny, a protector and they were taken from that role by evil people. I hate that my own dog, my family member is automatically seen as a violent dog because he is half pittie. They naturally love children as all dogs and people do.

I've been lucky enough to be around dogs my entire life. Every pitbull and german shepherd in a good family are always so cuddly and insanely nanny-like with kids. All dog breeds can be great with kids, but those stick out bc they're just SO attentive and parental

I think I've seen this episode about 100 times since 2018 but I never get tired of it. The love that this family clearly has for Gemma (and Boopsie) is just so pure and beautiful. Great video for when I need reminding that there are good people in this world.

My grandson had a Rottweiler named Janie. We called her the nanny. She slept with him, swam and went to daycare with him. Everyone loved her and didn’t worry about the kids when she was there. We lost her when she was 12 to cancer. We miss her every day.

pit bulls/ Staffordshire terriers are the most social dog i have ever encountered. they have to be with you/near you/around you all the time. if you have a fire place burning and some warm quilts they are in god heaven. its all about the pack.
