I watch Dodo content more than any other content page, across social media platforms. Your content brings me immense joy and I look forward to checking out new videos when they drop.
That being said, as a loyal follower, it’s disappointing to see this countdown of men loving their pets not include a single man of color. You had 10 chances to highlight men from all over, showing different loving relationships with their animals, and you showed a white man all 10 times. No, everything isn’t about race- it’s about how this video didn’t see other races as a priority, good enough, etc. Whatever the reasoning, the Dodo’s audience includes a spectrum of people and its content should reflect that. I understand the Supreme Court decided people don’t have to care about diversity but if you want to keep your audience, if The Dodo does in fact care about diversity, I suggest you show it.
