(Sorry for length. Just thorough with my thoughts is all)
I had a black lab dalmatian as a teen, Charlie.
Black, white and black spots around mouth, white streak chest/stomach with various black spots, and the tip of his tail was white.
He was playful and protective with me but not strangers. He wasn't aggressive, just cautious and not playful.
But as soon as I called him over and had them pet him with me he treated them the same.
When rough housing with friends or playful bouts with a girlfriend he'd push himself between us like he was saying, you play together with me. No fighting.
He was the gooderest boy.
House we lived in came about as a deal with family who moved to Texas. We'd send her the rent money to continue the payments. Weird setup. I know.
Six years in she decided to start pocketing the money and didn't tell us for 3 months until we got kicked out. Family moved two states over to an apartment that wouldn't allow pets. Had to give him and our cat Kristy we'd had since I was four years old (16 at the time) to a family friend.
Learned later that he dumped Charlie at a pound that sent him to another city for some unknown reason. Never saw or heard of him again. And Kristy had an infection in her ear that spread to her brain (vet diagnosed gave meds and such to try to treat)
We said screw the apt manager. Brought her over and took care of her. It was clear a few weeks she was deteriorating and would only get worse. My mom wanted to keep trying and we had to get her to understand it was just cruel to do so. We her put to sleep.
I miss my pup.

It's always weird to have my heart broken and then healed in the same clip. Thank you for whoever found her. And thank you for all those who helped to heal her and especially thank you to the family that took her forever! I don't like people, and those type of hearts are the exception.

Good Morning! I am so Dang Glad That people like you and I LOVE AND CARE FOR ANIMALS, I Miss my little Boy he lived to be 117 years old in Human life time because I took good care of him, so I would like to say Thanks for Saving That little ONE MUCH

Dogs love with their whole being and unconditionally. Anyone who hurts animals just must not have a heart. I’m always so grateful that there are such good and loving people left in this world who help animals in need. Love just conquers all.

If i was able to foster i would have 7 zillion pets. The way my heart is set up i would never be able to let go of something i took care of and nursed. i wouldn't want them to have to adjust to another change either.

I started tearing up the moment I saw the title/picture - the thought of somebody harming such an innocent creature. this is man's BEST FRIEND - HOW CAN U TREAT THE SPECIES WE AS HUMANS CREATED WITH SUCH HATRED!

My neighbor has this same hair problem. seen her the other day n i cried. i know they have spent thousands on the last 6 yrs on vets n she only gets worse. what did u guys do to heal her skin. please share

How can anyone throw away a living being An innocent, young puppy I put a curse on anyone doing this. It breaks my heart. What a lovely doggo. Thanks for finding and rescuing her.
