Man Rescues Raccoon Choking From Car Tarp

Man Rescues Raccoon Choking From Car Tarp I saw the original video. First guy was an idiot more interested in getting views and being seen as a hero than effectively saving the raccoon, wasted more time making a show of saving the little guy than actually getting anything done, second guy came in and was way more serious about getting the job done. The editing here makes it seem like the raccoon came out okay, but thats not how it seemed in the original, poor raccoon kept walking in circles as though it had suffered brain damage and walked up to the food but wouldnt eat, meanwhile first guy kept congratulating himself instead of rushing it to a vet for treatment. Was way more of a bumbling shitshow than this curated clip makes it out to be, and its sadly not clear if the raccoon made it out okay in the end.

Taking the time to record and make sure you have everything set up in your shot before rescuing shows the complete lack of morals and empathy in this generation. Look at the comments sticking up for this bs. How about just do a good deed without worrying about the likes and online clout ok kids Or maybe when an adult comes to rescue you we can make sure the production team is ready first. Fkin zoomers

Listen everyone. What they did was EXTREMELY DANGEROUS! I'm glad it turned out ok. but raccoons are strong, with sharp teeth and they are extremely agile and fierce fighters when they are stressed. This turned out ok because the raccoon was half unconscious by the time they freed it and started removing the final loop from his neck. Please be very careful folks! Just sayin'. LOL

Thanks for the video Dodo. I'm grateful, happy, and relieved that they helped the raccoon out including the animal's patience and understanding not to attack them in the process. Right on fellas for the assistance and the raccoon for his comprehensive patience.

The fear there wasn't his breathing, but his blood flow. Remember that you can be more than one minute without air, but not without blood to the brain. (Raccoons should have even worse resistance)
Thank you for not giving up.

If something like this happens you can always grab the animal by the scruff of its neck. It will not be able to bite you and you can then remove the thing that is choking it - while you hold him up so that he isn't choking.

Tell tell sign he might have rabies doing circles. Probably spinning around confused by rabies and got close to the car cover! These guys are hero’s but could have contracted rabies. You guys are lucky!
reply

Poor raccoon atleast he got rescued and looks like he felt comfortable around that rescuer after saving its life and gave him food and everything that’s real nice of that man helping out a raccoon

One time i saved my dogs sister she was running to fast went to cage and her leash got caught And she was like moving alot, I knew what to do so i i got her leash out and i free'd her.

The man spent 10 minutes to set his cam and then another 10 minute to get his gloves and then gave up his strategy for only few minutes and call someone that his strategy dont work.

Thanks for saving but just do it instead of taking film first, i know seeing this encourages people to be good but it isn't necessary to take film for every situation. JUST DO IT
reply

Cripes. All it would've taken is a good ( sharp ) pocket knife or about a dozen other things probably right there. The younger generations seem to be so helpless.
reply

Am I the only one feeling uncomfortable as if this was staged How long to help the raconte though. Let me place the camera right here so we can film and buzz.
reply

Ok so no one is going to talk about what happened after it was freed, it's all good to saved it but did he or she actually survive or get medical attention
reply

IT’s spinning in circles because it’s got a neurological disorder to the brain from being without oxygen so long. Sadly it probably will not survive
reply

Everyone saying that he just stopped to set up a camera
If you watch his video he said he was recording beforehand then saw the raccoon

reply

Like I always tell my wife: tools, tools and tools the whole rescue would be way easier with the guy had some basic tools in his garage
reply

you are so lovely! I hope that if you ever find yourself in a difficult situation, someone will lend a helping hand to you
reply

I remember watching this a long time ago and reading that the raccoon had brain damage from lack of oxygen for so long
reply

Rabies- be careful with raccoons or any wild mammal - the risk of a rabies infection is considerably high.
reply

When this guy has an accident and needs CPR, I wonder if he'll appreciate me setting up my camera first lol
reply

Seriously dudes. BUY A REAL F’ING KNIFE! Search for Spyderco or Benchmade, pick one, ANY ONE. sheesh.
reply

wow, that close! JSYK, any dark cloth over his head and grabbing by the back of the neck will help.
reply

just think about this guys. He set the camera up in the right angle before he started helping the racoon.
reply

The dull knife just disturbed me! If you're gonna carry a knife make sure it's worth carrying. Sheesh.
reply

OMG, there's a racoon choking here! Wait, first at all, let me put my cell to record, so I help him!
reply

This seems to odd to me. No carring would bother setting up a camera before rescuing a choking animal.
reply

me be like: OH MY GOSH MOM DAD GIVE ME SCISSORS OR SOME THING ( and crying at the same time)
reply

This played out like a universal motion piciture. Drama, suspence, terror with a happt ending.
reply

All that for a meal Some of us humans are wayyyyyyyyyy too privileged >. <
bless those two

reply

saved him. but no real scissors. .no tools. could grabbed sheet and spinned him free
reply

I wanna know how the racoon got the noose around its neck in the first place
reply

Doctor: The for saving the poor racoon unfortunately you have rabies now.
reply

I guess there are amazing people out there bless these two angles among us!
