Pit Bull Puppies Were Found On The Street and Then Reunited Months Later Adoption Day Theyre so beautiful, I hope they have the best life ever. I rescued 2 baby sisters out of an empty parking lot, and only about 3 weeks old. Two little black pitties with white markings on their faces and feet. they were jjst huddled together on the concrete in the middle of that empty lot, you could tell they hadnt moved since they were dumped there, probably the night before. Luckily, it was early morning when i missed my turn and used that driveway to turn around in. Thought it was a black tee shirt wadded up on the ground - but when it moved, i jumped out, and one started crying for help. They were so terrified and grateful to see me, I took them in my arms right away, and told them youre coming with me, its OK babies, youre saved now I kept them both about 3 weeks, was able to keep one permanently and hated splitting them up but had to. Gave one girl, Chance, to someone close by so they can still visit. Kept the other, Mercy, and she is the love of my life, I mean she is cherished in this home and spoiled rotten: ). thank you guys for having the hearts you do and helping the helpless, all dogs deserve a safe home, plenty to eat, a warm bed, lots of snuggles and playtime. Dogs are a gift from God to humans.

It rubs me wrong toward those people who so nonchalantly determine whats best with regards to Bonded Pairs, Bonded Siblings.
This lady made her mind up before even comcerning herself with trying yo understand the Pair's Relationship
I just wanted to take care of them till we find them Home(s)
NOT a New Home!
SHE SAID homes Plural.
NOT EVEN ATTEMPTING to understamd how important their bond might actually be.
They were eachothers only support in a time of Misery.
SURE, Most Often times if they end up in a good home all seems well. They individually seem happy & Typically ARE happy.
BUT that was a very low bar to overcome.
IN THOSE RARE CASES where the Adopted families reunite the pair, U SEE AN ERUPTION OF JOY, playing, licks excitment!
Something that was stripped from them Involuntarily.
Again, NOT ONCE DID anyone consider rheir bond initially I'm It was completely irrelevant to all the parties involved
(People.

I don't like Luna went from being with her brother to an only dog. He has a big brother and kids now! Dogs should always have another dog or at least an animal buddy to keep them company. And saying she's not all about being outside is weird, she's only a puppy! I really hope they get her a companion, and take her to visit her brother often. Dogs raised together get great exercise playing, are better socialized and more grounded when raised with one or more dogs. Dogs are highly social and it's just not healthy to be isolated. You want to greatly increase the chances of behavioral problems, ie; a bored barker or a neurotic pup that has little confidence, let it grow up alone.

It was cruel to separate these two. If they had been born in a good setting and separated at the right age then fine. But they weren't. They struggled together. Relied on one another. That was wrong. And the act of it enraging. You should've found a different fostering agency for them. Because you have no sense at all. I regret watching this video

I would’ve adopted both. Keep them together. They went thru so much and that bond being broken for them must have been hard. But glad to see they got to hang out again. Hopefully that’ll happen throughout their lives. Always love to see pups with their siblings and parents.

I'm not gonna lie, I wanna foster animals sooooooo bad but I would have to buy a mansion with acres of land cause i wouldn't let go. Bit then again everyone and thing need that co fort also. I'm gi na do it as soon as I am bettwr from my recovery and have my strength back

I see that many on here had hoped they’d be adopted together. But it looks as if each hit the jackpot. I’ve heard that adopting litter mates can cause them to bond with each other and maybe not with their people as well. So this might be the best of both worlds.

The puppies were so different; it's great they got families and situations that matched who they were I think that playdates are a brilliant idea! it's easy to love animals. it's harder to love people, but I love these people.

I adopted a bonded pair. Father and daughter from a UK rescue centre. I can’t imagine them being apart after what they went through. Hope they got to meet up regularly. They went to good homes but this was heartbreaking.
reply

How did they adopt the male intact for a rescue Usually it is standard procedure fix or neuter adopted dogs especially pit dogs. I would never let those people adopt without getting them neutered.
reply

They are so beautiful. I couldn't have given them up and I would NEVER seperate them. That's the only way I would have let anyone adopt them is if they took both cuz they will miss each other.
reply

She points out how close and important their bond to eachother is then Adopts them apart.
But as long as you feel good about yourself, the hero of your own story that's what matters

Are there different types of pitbullls These are taller and thinner, like the type I've seen that fight, or the kind that people pick up in Hawaii to hunt pigs. I know I'm wrong.
reply

I’m glad it worked out, they should have had a meet and greet with their other dog before adopting him. What if the other dog didn’t like him
reply

Why on earth were these dogs separated These families would have found other wonderful dogs who were not bonded. They should be together.
reply

Shoulda adopted together not separate.
And right after the foster brags about how close they are.
GREAT IDEA--- WE WILL SPLIT U UP.

Love the door threshold shot. Dogs are so aware of boundaries. We sit a dog that waits at every door for a prompt from us. I like it.

He & She is so gorgeous, nice handsome dog. Thank you for Rescues and giving them a Forever, Healthy Home and Plenty of Loves
reply

They should have been adopted together they had been through alot together. Im glad that they thrived apart. They got lucky.
reply

I could NEVER be a foster mom. I would end up keeping ALL of my foster babies I'm a sucker for ALL fur-babies
reply

Fostered them and then separated them. How heartbreaking a dog's life can be with a human who make bad choices.
reply

Lol he marked Joshs room already. We wont twll him until after this airs.
so is Josh his favorite now

reply

I'm super happy that they both got adopted, but I would have loved it if they were adopted together.
reply

What especially sweet fosters and families and kids in this one, lovely gentle people
reply

I know this is really old, but why in the world would you separate them That's cruel
reply

No offense to Luna's mommy but I think it was love at first sight with her daddy!
reply

I don't believe certain breeds are dangerous it's the upbringing of those counts.
reply

Respect to the foster mom who let them be in her home instead of the dog pound.
reply

Hope there'll be lots more playdates together. You can feel their sweet bond
