I had a pidgeon trapped in my chimney, and the only way to free it was to demolish the fireplace.
I now have no fireplace, but a very tame Pidgeon who refuses to be released into the wild!

I raised a little lorikeet myself from very much the same stage. He was brought to me when he came out of a tree that had branches above cut for power cables here in Australia. It was wonderful to see him grow and thrive. j
