I have two questions first of all how close is the nearest town to where they are camping and my second question matches up with my first question which is if it’s too far away then that means nobody is going to drive that far and drop those dogs off my guess is somebody went out there to enjoy the day and someone ended up falling off the edge and there’s a body to be found I just hope sooner or later we figure out what really happened. somebody’s friend is lost in that canyon. It happens every single year people go out there not understanding how dangerous climbing, or sitting on the edge can be and all it takes is one scoop and you’re over the edge and you’re done for if that person wants to fall off the edge with their dog sitting there next to them, this explains why the dogs were found by themselves why did the law not look in his ass instead of just accusing somebody of dumping their dogs there’s just too much out of the ordinary for this just to be your average person trying to get rid of some animals

No not by chance you were meant to be there at the right time and place where your assistance is needed. Those poor dogs, gotta wonder how they got out there They were clearly unable to get out and we’re just starving with no water. They just had enough energy to cry out in a howl!

I watch the Dodo to restore my faith in humans as compassionate, loving and caring beings. To see people helping to undo the damage done by others is a balm for my weathered and sickened spirit and soul.
As someone with parent and other human caused PTSD and anxiety looming near agoraphobia, at times; I need help seeing the good in people.

Man years later and there was never an update on how the dogs ended up there everyone was saying how they were abandoned but they had harnesses on I am more worried that their owner had an accident while they were hiking with them canons are big places they could have never been found

If someone willingly abandoned these poor animals then I am sad and angry at their inhumanity. Take them to a shelter, give them a chance. I would if I could save every abandoned mistreated animal. 3 cats and two dogs already because of people like this.

Faith in humanitys will / should never be restored as long as humans treat animals like garbage and crap, animals deserve nothing but the best care and safety and protection, therefor they need to be protected by law.

Does anyone wonder if their owner like had an accident and fell and died I find it hard to believe someone would drive all the way to some mountains and take the dogs to the top and just leave them there

My guess
A boyfriend did not like his girlfriend's dogs.
In the dead of night he took the dogs and abandoned them in the mountains. Then left the front door open making her think the dogs escaped.

Excellent job, well done! However, those dogs had harnesses/collars. It's possible something happened to their owners. Surely the park rangers combed the area after your amazing rescue

We will never know for sure, but I could nearly bet my life that these pets were abandoned by the abuser in a domestic violence situation. Narcissists capacity for cruelty knows no bounds.

How can anyone just abandon such beautiful souls. Poor brave dogs. If i were to rescue them there's no way I would not have adopted them after they were allowed to leave the vets.
