Guy Helps Wolf Spider Untangle His Feet

Guy Helps Wolf Spider Untangle His Feet

Guy Helps Wolf Spider Untangle His Feet This happened because Wolf Spiders are actually quite intelligent hunting spiders with large, front facing eyes. Whilst not quite as smart as jumping spiders, they possess just enough intelligence to be aware of humans and whether something is a threat to them or not. Most tarantulas dont quite possess this level of reasoning, meaning that they still might get aggressive at feeding tongs theyve seen every day for years. Wolf Spiders however, will at first be cautious and skittish but are smart enough to recognise that you are no threat despite how intimidating we appear to them.

Well, thank God there are other people like this in the world. I kind of thought I had to keep, doing that kind of stuff a secret because people would think I was weird. Heck, I cried hard and for a while, over a bee that died in my place, last week. So it really warms my heart to see somebody care that much over even the littlest critters. I like to think they've got people on their side

Interesting creature's.
Had a momma Florida wolf spider that lived under the fridge. Produced a few batches of excellent pest controllers.
Betsy was awesome, sit on your foot or in palm of hand, very social which I did not expect.
Cannot believe I'm saying this out loud.
I miss her, she taught me few thing's about trust and respect.

The guy in the video is misinformed, Wolf Spiders almost never bite unless excessively aggravated. Their hunting style is active, they use their large eyes to actually chase down prey and overpower them through the strength of their fangs rather than relying on venom. This type of hunting also implies they are very intelligent (for a spider)

One time a wasp landed on my ice-cream and she couldn’t clean herself afterwards. She couldn’t even fly because her wings were so sticky! So I took her on my hand, filled a tiny water cap with water, and started slowly cleaning her. It took about 15mins but it’s like she understood what I was doing, and then she just flew away: )

I can kind of hear the wolf spider.
They're saying: Wait, let me get a grip on the ground. Crap, I'm sliding. Yo, can you get this one too Oh, there's more there Here. Now that's a big dust bunny, here, it is.
There we go. Oh, my face as well Ok, I'll stay still. That's all Alright, thanks bro!

Oki, wolf spiders are very neat. I always hear cool things about them, first they take orphaned spiderlings under and don’t eat them. They care very much for their young.
They seems to have a very cool awareness of their surroundings.
And now I saw this. How can I not like spiders.

The number of people calling this huge spider a male when she's (hopefully) a female is bugging me so much. Male spiders are always tiny compared to female spiders, and if this is a male then we should be living in terror of his mate.
reply

Hello giant creature, I sense you own the stuff here, I think you can use the tools to get stuff off my legs
O K
thanks man
the spider went on to recommend the human to his friends if they needed any help

There's a family of wolf spiders have made themselves at home in the walls at my work place. I feel so bad for them, they come out and they're just covered in dust and particles from inside the wall.
reply

This is so cute, them being perfectly aware of what is going on and letting the guy touch them, even trying to stay on spot so he can pull the things off of them. Animals are making me relaxed.

Wolf spiders are probably the second most intelligent type of the spider species. Right after the jumping spiders that are ranked the most intelligent of spiders. Fun fact. lol
reply

I feel like there’s a chance you could hear it purring if you listen closely but I’m pretty sure not bc from what I heard they purr when they’re turned on
reply

Dude, this was honestly the most frustrating thing i've watched. Can I please get your POBox number so I can send you a mf'ing pair of mf'ing tweezers

Amazing how intelligence recognizes he's being helped by another intelligent being. and that's only arthropods & some of the other invertebrates.
reply

Man, I couldn't do that. I'd be too afraid I'd hurt the little guy.
Also wolf spiders can bite, but they don't tend to be aggressive.

reply

Imagine if this spider started leading other spiders to him, to get stuff off. Thinking this could start some symbiotic relation.
reply

Man: I'll help clean your legs off
Spider: I am grateful for the help. I won't lay eggs in your open mouth while you sleep.

reply

I have had a few interactions with spiders, and you would swear they are a fair bit more intelligent than one would tend to believe.
reply

Wolf spider was like dang how do those other spiders literally build this stuff and walk around on it with no issues.
