A little capuchin monkey who was injured and understandably abandoned by her family, that must’ve been so scary for her, so to have her and the cat find a bond by chance makes me feel so happy, that even if there are lots of people and animals suffering every dayat least this one little injured monkey and her cat foster sibling formed a new family

Mmhmm. The macaque imprinted the cat as a mother figure. That's common behavior for them. Gorillas and chips and i think even Macaques too are actually known to keep small animals as pets. An example is koko with her beloved kitten.
